Also surprised at the numbers especially with the table cap set lower and as pokermonk said glad all went smoothly with that number of players.

Think the announcing of the winner/winnings etc was disappointing, 1 day later we're still in the dark and all the promo advertising is still up. Unibet would have a lot to gain by broadcasting this as much as possible.

Few suggestions:
- pause the winning table for 5 mins and let everyone view the table, this makes players feel more involved, they get to sweat the hand, and their curiosity is satisfied.
- add a banner in the lobby announcing the winning player/winnings soon after the hand.
- replace promo adverts with winner announcment, not really ethical to continue advertising an expired promo.
- put ALL the players all in, feel so sorry for the poor guy who doesnt realise and folds. Either this or replace all their stacks temporarily with a single gold chip and put them all in automatically.

Just giving some feedback and suggestions for future similar promos.

Also Unibet is a €multi-million (mb billion?) company putting on a €1million+ promotion. Pretty sure they're capable of organising a banner + webpage update alongside their other events.

They sure can, I just don't understand why people get upset over a quite common delay from previous evening to the next day. Also, Unibet doesn't have hundreds of people working in poker like Stars does, it actually only makes up for a small portion of their overall traffic. Keep calm and have a coffee (and a Snickers).

About your suggestion. Its not always +EV to go All in when there is a milestone hand on your table. At the 200M hand it is, but its not necessary +EV to move all in on every other milestone hand.

thats true, my table was selected few days ago and "potential reward" was 60 EUR, but in the end I won only 12 EUR, and went all in for ~9 eur so I actually won only 3-4 EUR.
but I wonder, what would happen if I folded, would I win anything then ?

Also, I dont want to sound like Im complaining, but majority of those lucky hits are some kind of false advertising because you most probably will not win the amount in the banner. Amounts should be more precise but i guess it wouldnt seem so appealing then...

I actually was in a milestone hand and folded. It was at NL25 and I won 30EUR by foldind. Priceout projection for me was 150EUR I think. So that's what I would have gotten had I won.

I folded 52o or something like that utg. There's so little time to decide and with that crap I thought it would be close so took the less variancy way and took the free 30 EUR.

But the EV-stuff is interesting. Let's see.

It was a six max full table but I don't remember the stacks so lets say six full stacks. And I'll leave the rake out cause I'm lazy.

Folding = 30 EUR

Shoving and losing = -25 EUR + 30 EUR = 5 EUR

Shoving and winning = 150 EUR + 5x25 EUR = 275 EUR

Likelihood of winning = 52o vs five random hands = XX... damn... My super hyper power pc can't calculate this with PokerStove

I dont see why this is false advertising as I think its well explained on the milestone hand page on the unibet site. Its the same kind of advertising they use for the lottery, u can win up to xxx million but what are the chances right? Same for the 200M milestone hand, could win upto 1 million but only if u win the hand and with a royal flush.

But I agree on the fact they could maybe explain more what happens if u get dealt in a milestone hand and that u have to play the hand to win?
Might not be so easy to understand for people that just come over from sportsbook or whatever to have 'a go' at a milestone hand.

well, as I remember at PS when there is such promotion, you can see your max winnings and then after that in brackets, your regular winnings, for example: 200(50),
and here at Unibet you can only see max amount which in most cases will not come true.
Especially that 1 million but ok we all know that is a nice marketing spin mostly.
Also, I think many people actually do not know that it only counts flops seen 60 mins before the hand hits, so they go allin thinking that they "acquire" more "points" for that and automatically win more, but obviously that is not so.

it seems that folding is actually the wisest decision in most situations, but as I said, people usually don't know about their chances and winnings, they just see their table got selected and automatically go all in hoping for that max amount on the banner..
I know I was surprised with my reward which was 5x smaller than on the banner, but, I'm happy anyway for getting anything at all

I agree, this would be better. When I was in the hand, I didn't know the payout for losing the hand and just guessed that it's probably 20-50 EUR and based my fold to that.

+1 to these (snipped) suggestions for future promos.
Some sort of lobby banner saying "Jonny won $800 in a 4NL milestone" might inspire some players.
I realise, of course, that Uni has a limited staff and budget, and we can't have every feature request automatically put in place, but I used to enjoy the drama of milestone hands on Stars, where there would be 5,000 people railing a 2NL table.

If you're on a table that hits a milestone hand does the table get highlighted etc. so u don't fold by accident?

Something's up with the European Football Tournament, lobby is not updating at all, still at 72/93 players and we're an hour and a half in, shows next blinds 100/200 and current blinds are 600/1200. No idea how many peeps left in it lol.
