Andrew i have a question.My current major challenge is giving me currently 2800 points and should be 5000.I play 0.25 nl.From the start of the challenge is 3000.Why is this so am i missing something?And please exchange one 25 sit&go into 25nl ticket. alias: badijala.

Jammed and crashed again last night. I sent you the log file. You probably noticed couple of other guys posted about same problem too, so i assume its from your end.

What happend to 25nl ? I dropped down from 50nl because i needed some money for real life. Its full of multitabling nits almost no action lol ?

Yes, this is the live etiquette but it doesn't make any sense. It doesn't change anyone's expectation, it's simply about people's perception of what's fair as they think that money is "theirs".

I don't think this works because it means people can table select again.

I've heard from our events team that they weren't too happy with the casino staff either. I don't think the casino is used to having so many people there, but this is our 3rd year there and the EPT went there too. You'd think they'd have had enough practice by now.

Right now the rough plan is to do the tourney lobby relaunch at the same time as introducing bounty and hopefully rebuy tournaments. After that I think it'd be fine to add this kind of thing too.

Yes. Right now PLO is up about twice as much as the rest of the site is up (and we migrated more of our PLO players than we did our NLHE players in the first place). It's not as big as NLHE but I'm quite interested in acquiring more PLO players - nobody really tries to appeal to them, so there's relatively little competition. If we can do that successfully then there's no reason why we couldn't do it in other games too.

The problem is simply that we need a minimum liquidity for games to run. We discussed Fast the other day in this thread - it doesn't work if nobody plays them. It'd be fairly easy to add 10 more game types, but it isn't worth the development effort if we don't make money from them. There're things that we can do that definitely make us money instead.

What would be the plus side to doing it? I'm quite interested in having some more double-trouble themed tournaments - like "lost €20 in the casino this week? here's a shot at getting it back in poker!", then pay out in poker tickets of course.

If you avoid pots without the nuts you're giving up on expectation so in the long run this'll work out as a worse strategy. Good for the games though, so don't let me stop you!

It shouldn't be 5,000. Challenges award points based on how many hands they take to complete. This is one of the shortest ones so it awards fewer points.

Thanks, I've asked the developers to have a look. I don't think other people are posting about the same thing per se, I think mostly this is CPU lag (and it may be in your case too). I don't think this is a widespread problem.

I think this was probably just variance. Sometimes some tables are nittier than others. On average had 33.27% of hands reaching the flop this month, 34.72% last month and 33.23% in Jan. So it's basically the same as usual.

Hey Andrew how does the vvip of 25NL compare to 10NL? Hoping to move up in the near future, thanks.

We rake 1c for every flop seen, so if the pot is < 33c at NL10 the rake is still 1c (NL10 rake is 3% to 200c). Unfortunately the tool that we use to measure the percentage of pots that're raked doesn't take this into account. That means that all NL4 and NL10 numbers I quote are lower than they should be. But they're wrong in the same way each time, so we can still see trends. The last three months are 26.25%, 27.18% and 26.27% - so again, it's basically staying the same.

something that would be nice at some point is to have timezone selection in the client and timezone reflective start times. So at the moment if a tournamnet starts in 8.35 hours i still have to work out what time that is, wheras if i could just select GMT as my timezone and then all tournaments showed in GMT time that would be great.

Andrew how is it that sometimes people can join a table for over the table maximum buyin? Anyone know how this is done?

They leave a table, join the pool again and get seated at the same table again to enforce playing with the same stack as before? At least that's how it works on other sites.

But on this site whenever I've left and rejoined you can only join with the max for that table. Unless I'm missing something somewhere?

Plus they hadn't been at my table all day until they joined with over double the max buyin

Agree that this would be useful. I guess the main reason we don't have it at the moment is that 80%+ of our players are in CET.

It's almost certainly because they left and rejoined. They may have changed alias before rejoining. I can look into a specific example if you remember their alias and the time the next time you see it?

Weird. But I think ultimately the app in Sweden will get worse and worse. We can't update it any more because Svenska Spel forced Apple to remove all of their competitor's apps from the store. Until that's resolved I think there're going to be problems there and I'm afraid there isn't much we can do about it.
