I think it'd work really well with Twitch too.

We have a good strategy, a good product, we grew ~65% last year from the launch, but we're still about 1-2% of Unibet's revenue. That means it's hard for marketing people to spend much time acquiring poker players. One of the things we can do is stuff like the cash game and Twitch, that's why I'm eager to get something done here.

Royal flush is a bit too hardcore, but this kind of thing can work. I don't know much about the Twitch API but I believe I can get the times that a specific account was broadcasting. We can compare that to the timestamp on the hand history (all automatically). The downside is that we'd need people to link their Unibet account with their Twitch account, and I imagine that's a bigger development job on our side than I'd like.

I think this might be setting the bar too high too, but it also works in principle.

I don't mind extending bonuses that are still active or exchanging tickets that still exist. But I can't reasonably go back and exchange tickets that people let expire one month or more ago. I've done this from time to time for people

Given that you had those expired tickets, I credited you with an NL25 ticket, but I think that's quite generous of me.

It's from Q1 Challenges at 100k payout:

100,000 Unibet Open Sattelite- 3 packages; April 4th or 12th @ 18:00

Yeh, 3k. I've asked people to check that they think we won't hit the cap.

Yes. If someone wins a 2nd package via Challenges they can move it to a later UO or I'll exchange it to 2k in tickets. This is a bit different from the normal policy (if you can't go and it's your only satellite, we'll do 1k tickets if you have a good excuse, or we'll move it to a later event).

Basically, I have no idea. I've asked the developers to see if they can come up with something. In the development backlog is a way to measure the FPS in people's clients. This'll help us come up with minimum system requirements.

There is nothing more than some rasterised images and basic animations happening on the screen.
The reason that it's so CPU intensive is that it uses Adobe Air. This lets us run very similar versions of the software on PC, Mac, iPad, Browser and Android. This is how we can have so many versions despite only having a dozen developers. So there're upsides and down sides. I've asked them to see if there're optimisations they can do, and apparently there are not.

how about: promo: 1) people stream their play on unibet on twitch(they could set-up their own twitch channels just like other streamers. maybe unibet would help them with that), then 2) viewers and/or unibet players and/or unibet votes/judges who is/are the most entertaining, and then 3) this/these streamers stream their own play/show on the unibet twitch channel (obviously there are many possibilities for rewarding this player)
Sorry, missed this one.

I think this kind of plan is how we'd do it in the medium term. In the short term I think we need to get across the idea that our software is the best for streaming poker. In the dim and distant past I worked in eSports - I think I'll go hassle some people and figure out how they do it, whether we can get a popular streamer trying the client, etc.

Andrew, though you might have had these questions before, but again:
why arent all of the opponents cards shown on the showdown (if there are more than 1 opponent, only 1 out of two-and-more persons are shown) - you have to see and check them on dealer's chat - i do not remember having this option to muck your losing cards

when someone has less chips/money than others in the pot, it is not shown separated in parts (side pot), is this the way it is supposed to be?

If it's Windows related, try "FRAPS". It shows an FPS counter when I start Unibet Client. Maybe this helps?

3000 cap on march freerolls.

People split tickets to have more shots at the package.
So if you can get 2 x 250e tickets, play one and if you lose split the other to 5 x 50e and try and win 2 again.

On the 2e 10e and 50e tickets approx 1 in 6 players win a ticket and about 1 in 10 win a package in the 250e final.
Ty!

And Andrew also ty for your answer !

I have some questions about the unibet open stuff. I normally only play cashgames but the UO in Glasgow seems supernice . I always played football aswell but had to quit because i had alot of injuries.

I never played a live poker tournament that big and if i win a package does it cover all costs ? I am still a student so my budget is kinda tight

Got a intel I7 3.2GHZ with 8GB and i did sometimes witness a small freeze, if I opened more than 10 tables cash (couple of times during Unibets Milestone after I didn't play so many tables again) but seemed more people had problems back than,I will try it again this evening and will let you know how it went.

I do still witness freezes in MTT's (yesterday) even only with two tables open, but this can't be any CPU or RAM problem. Seems the table totally freezes and all action stops(while other table still is working) , I have to log out and in again to see I have missed a couple of hands on that table.

interesting, shouldnt happen with such hardware. try updating all the runtimes for your OS. google "All in One Runtimes 64bit windows7" for example, maybe it helps handling the software smoother. cheers

I think it is setting the bar a little too high, you're right. My thought was to make the person who is streaming do it for a long duration and on a regular basis, because that's a great way improve viewership for a twitch stream.

There's a video gamer called LethalFrag who challenged himself to create a live twitch steam everyday for two years and he gains hundreds (sometimes thousands) of viewers each night. I think consistency is a key factor to create a large viewership, so maybe a similar challenge to twitch at least one hour of poker on Unibet for 30 days, to get a little reward.

Then again, if your short-term goal is to show off the features Unibet has, and why it makes it the best poker client to stream on twitch. you're probably going to need to set a challenge like 'cash in three SnGs using three different aliases and three different backgrounds over Twitch'

Good luck anyway with it all

EDIT: I don't know why I'm always suggesting the promo to be set as a challenge, haha. There are obviously other ways to go about it, like paying a celebrity to play on Unibet for a while. Maybe a Twitch/YouTube celebrity like PewDiePie, since they've already got the following and it will also potentially usher in a new crowd, which is good since Unibet is a noobie-friendly poker client

Could you change my four €1 SNG tickets into one of €4 and change my 10NL ticket into a €10 SNG? Thanks.

Me and a friend of mine have both had the same thing - as soon as you open task manager, all tables/lobby go black.

played the 50€ UO this evening and the buyin was deducted from my account. So could you reissue 50€ and 4x50€ UO tokens in my account?

Lol, you want Andrew to repay the 50 EUr you lost playing the qualifier because you could not wait for him to give you the tickets. That insane imo ^^ . You should have just waited untill he credited the tickets to you.
