You were credited 1,750 points rather than 750. "Call preflop, win postflop" awarded you 1175 points, but was meant to award double that. You also completed a NLHE major (reach a 77x flop). Your 1750 point credit was the 1175 from the PLO major and the 575 from the NLHE one.

Hi Andrew thanks for replying and clarifying. I understand the 1750 points as the correction for the bug (except that I thought is was 750, my bad, I believe you.)

But what you've missed is I think the bug still exists.

I was paid 1175 and credited 1175 for the bug (Omaha major), ok we agree on that, done and dusted.

Since that I have completed the "win a hand at showdown x100" and only been paid 1200. I'm sure this should be 2400 and that I've still only got half the points (this was on the 5th). The prediction for the "make a str8 on the turn" looks incorrect too (half the value again?).

Can you confirm playing wholly at PLO10 what the pay outs for the 2 majors should be.
"Win a hand at showdown x100" should the pay out be 1200 or 2400?
"Make a str8 on the turn" should this be 1625 or 3250?

Adrian

last quarter already I have noticed that majors seem to pay out significantly lower amounts than before, despite the fact that it is easier to complete them. Perhaps it is just that we got used to getting much more points before for completing them.
However, it still feels like completing several minors is faster and more rewarding than completing 1 major.
I'm sure Andrew will let me know and yes the values are lower and easier to complete (than previously), but I'm still sure there's an error here and I'm pretty sure it's going to be as a result of the coding of the "Jan Sale" as the points appear to be half of what they should be, if not it's a mighty big co-incidence. Win at showdown x100 takes 1,200 hands on average. Make a straight on the turn x25 takes 1,625 hands on average. You are used to getting points as if each one took 2,500 hands (which is still the case, on average), but now we are awarding points based on each individual Challenge.

Hi Andrew, thanks as always.

In that case I'm even more miffed. You MUST update the website. I see I have 1200 points for a major and look on the website and it says 2500. I know they are now individual points but I didn't expect it to be less than half, to be honest that's ridiculous, Either post on here or on the website what the actual rewards are, then I can stop wasting time and play poker.

How many hands have I played so far this month? Adrian

Too bad that the game turned into an all in or fold donkfest after 20 minutes. Well, it would also help to hold with jacks vs sevens pre.

Yeah i was wondering about why i get less/more points then the table on the website says (mostly i get less point for the minors and more points for the majors) but if i understand correctly, the table on the website is not correct?
How must i interpretate the loyalty challenges then? please explain it in simple words for me, english is not my best language.....

i only see that i dont get 275 points for a minor challenge on nl10, or 1250 for the major on nl10 (holdem)

Hi Andrew, just want to get shortly back to the CPU lag issue as many others seem to report that also. I was wondering before what was causing that, was it the milestones or what, but seems that it hasn't gone away so it wasn't that. Thing is that the software worked fine pre November (can't remember the exact date when the load got too heavy) and playing 6 or more tables did not cause lag at all. Since that only 4 tables, if 5th is added, the client freezes.

I have a few years old iMac and a new laptop pc, so I'd say theoretically this equipment should be able to run a few poker tables without issues, but that is not the case. As this might be problem for many other multitablers, this is surely an issue to look into as it directly affects rake generation. Could it be a client update at that time that got things too heavy for a basic computer to handle?

Im still having trouble with the software, mostly with 2 symptoms :

1. Everything freezes, cant click on anywhere.
2. The tables and lobby turn black.

im able to solve both cases by closing the unibetpoker process and the starting the client again. Ususally when im fast enough i will not time out on any hands.

Both cases only happen when opening new tables, and always happens in the middle of a session. Its like i hit a magic X number of opened tables. I usually play 10-12 tables and when tables break up and i open new ones and thats when these problems start.

I have 8gb of ram and a i5 CPU, bought last year so its not a performance issue.

There've been a lot of problems with updating the website this month, and it's at least partially our fault in the poker team. The problem is that it's done country-by-country and it wasn't done very well at the turn of the year. Lots of stuff was missing for us for example (see leaderboard stuff a week ago).

You're on 11,884 hands so far this month.

The table shows the correct average amount taken over every Challenge. But some Challenges award more points than others. The page should be updated soon.

It can only project if you've played some hands at that game.

Don't worry about it.

I think that when we had average points per Challenge people complained that they were getting unreasonably hard Challenges. Now that we have points adjusted per Challenge, people complain they are getting fewer points on their easier Challenges. That's just the way people think.

What are you mac and laptop specs? Could you try freezing it by opening a fifth then emailing me your log files please? They'll be in your documents/my documents directory, but they only work for the most recent session so you'd need to send them before you re-opened the client.

"It can only project if you've played some hands at that game."

Having completed 1/2 of big challenge and 9/20 of small challenge, there should be some hands?
No big deal, I just find it hard to understand how points are calculated.

Aha, I had misunderstood slightly how it worked. It will make a projection if you have a 1 step Challenge based on hands played so far, but it won't if it's a 2 step challenge for technical reasons.

The reason that your PLO Major shows as 0 projection is that we set all major Challenges to 50% completion at the start of the quarter. The system therefore thinks it's a 2 step Challenge and can't make a projection, even though you only have one step to go.

I'll add better projections to Q2 Challenge improvements - we can make it so that 2+ step Challenges can have better projections without any completed steps.

We can also make it so that the client gives a reason for the 0 point projection, and we can make it so that the client projects PLO Challenges from NLHE play under the theory that if you play x stake at PLO you are more likely to play x stake at NLHE too.

Hello Andrew!

I've got a few question about Unibet Open Copenhagen package(I've got an email explaining everything about Unibet London package a few days after I've reached the challenge step but ain't got any information about Unibet Open Copenhagen)

Room/breakfast is for two(like it was in London) or just for the player?
Is there a "deadline" if i want to turn the package into tickets?
If I want to exchange my package into tickets should i send email to You or just Unibet Support(or it doesnt really matter?;p)? Do i get the same conditions either way?( like 2 nl200 ticket each worth 500 euro with a flop seen req. which makes it worth 100% rb)

thanks

Mac 2,66 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4 Gt, 1067 MHz DDR3 - OSX 10.10
PC AMD A8-6410 APU with AMD Radeon R5 Graphics 2.00 GHZ, 8 GT RAM, WIN 8.1

seems that now the pc works with 5 tables at least, it didn't during the milestones. Mac won't, let me know if you think those specs aren't enough. Anyways, mac worked fine even unto 8 tables the first 6 moths of the new client.

Andrew had an idea about freerolls thought id share, from something i saw on another site.
Given your thoughts about some players just freerolling when they might deposit - one possible solution would be to put a requirement on freerolls that you have to have played x raked hands in the previous 48 hours or something similiar.
