Hi All,
I'll be leaving Unibet at the end of the month and will not have access to a work laptop after tomorrow afternoon. I wanted to personally thank everyone that has posted feedback/issues or lurked in this thread for the last 3 years and the 3k or so posts I've been looking after. It's been a privilege to follow on from Patric and Andrew in keeping this direct line of contact between the customer base and the team alive and kicking. It's an invaluable tool in helping shape future development, report issues and collaborate on optimising the product to be the best it can be.
I'm very sad to be leaving a role that has never felt like work, has been very rewarding and has given me so many opportunities to grow and develop professionally and personally in such a short time. It's been a one in a million opportunity to turn my passion as a player/customer into a full-time job and to be able to do it for a product and team I believe are making decisions with a player first mentality whenever possible, even if that means sacrificing some company profit, has been a complete joy. I hope things like the new MTT schedule/series that have been implemented over the last 8 months have created a positive thumbprint on the product and you enjoy them as much as I did creating them.
I know you're wondering, and no, I didn't get fired
After the birth of my second child last year we made the decision that returning to Scotland would be the best for the family and unfortunately we were unable to find a solution where I could continue to be employed by Kindred from there. It's not all doom and gloom though, I'll be working for Relax Gaming from June 1st in a tournament related role so I won't be far away and will probably monitor the thread in case anything MTT related comes up.
The thread will be monitored officially now by the wonderful Marion, our new Poker Operations Manager, so it will business as usual going forward... although she's much nicer than me so the trolls might not get as rough treatment as they're used to
With all that said, I've got a sunset to ride off into...
