I have been getting DC'd from cash games both late last night and again around 1 hour ago, while connection was fine, so I assume related, but maybe not if you are saying cash games are running ok

The DDOS attacks affect everyone as they're going after the server. Post attack, the automated responses stop everything tournament related but cash games continue as normal. There was another attack ~11:20 CEST

It is unfortunately. It's going to be the same as back in July, access for some will be fine and for others it won't until the mitigation tools can be turned off.

If you scroll up to prior posts, you will see that the cause of the poker app being down, is linked to ddos attacks. They happen more on a 3 month basis/bi-annually, as opposed to a weekly one, as you mentioned. And there has been no mention of ETA yet to when things will be back to normal, but it is usually lower than 24h...

edit : speaking of which, Andy, could you possibly extend a little my present 14 day bonus... I was going to reach completion right at the deadline, but might be tight/not reach it, depending on how long the site is down... Thx
Spoiler:
I don't have access my aliases right now, but I am pretty sure you remember my name...

Have you tried to hit "retry"? I have been getting the same popup since yesterday's ddos attacks, but it loads properly after I hit the "retry" option afterwards...

Hey Andy, what's the reason Unibet stopped allowing players from Thailand and is there any chance that changes in the future?

No idea if I'm honest, the poker team really don't have any control over it as these things are a company wide business decision. I believe they have a general goal to try and only generate revenue from regulated sources so it might be related to that.

Please update us the moment Unibet should be working fine for everything, so I can still decide whether to play today or not .

Thanks Andy!

It's not really something a can guarantee as the attacks might stop for a few hours and everything looks fine and then they start again.

The actual server and the games are running fine for the most part other than the tournament lobbies being a bit slow to update from time to time so if you can get in you should be able to play fine. The issue is getting logged in and that can take multiple attempts because the mitigation tools are blocking legitimate traffic while trying to stop the bad traffic.

https://www.unibetcommunity.com/anno...server-issues/ is probably the best place to check for "live" updates. It's obviously updated manually but will show how we see things running based on the info we have.

Hello Andy, I'm trying to complete the bonus “Rake 225 Get 45” and I have 4 days remaining. The thing is that I'll be traveling for two days. Will it be possible for you to extend me a few more days to complete it? I play at Nl10.
Thank you so much. User. NiceHand12

Still waiting for rakeback for dutch players, you won't earn my 100k rake a year (200/400nl reg) if i can't have a percentage back.

Even holland casino (state owned) introduced rakeback/cashback a bunch of times now during certain periods.

https://www.hollandcasino.nl/en/promoties/cash-climber

There is no argument to not give players rakeback, its a money grab.

Unibet is making 366.000 euro a day from dutch players and refuses to give anything back to poker players. LOLWTF

To be fair I don't think they owe us (Dutch players) anything, let alone they will discuss your issue after the way you behave in your post.
Rakeback is extra, not something they are obligated to provide, although it would be nice ofcourse and we can ask them gently to look if there is a possibility they can do something for us in this matter.
But that's just my 2 cents.

Hi Andy,

I have a question: is there a possibility that if you click a "fold/call/raise" button on the table, but did not release the mouse button yet and release it somewhere else, you haven't made a decision yet ? Now there are moments where I click and wanting to change option, so release the mouse button away from these option buttons but the "first click" still stands.
Hope you understand what my issue is here (English isn't my first language) and you can discuss this with the team.

Thanks for your time!

didn't mean to come off rude.

Right now, every player playing on unibet is receiving rakeback through their reward program, except dutch and maybe belgium players.
There is no valid reason for this, as they can offer flat rakeback to dutch players instead of reward steps if there is any concern in terms of legislation. For example, they can offer rakeback as an optional mission like holland casino is doing. Meanwhile, GG is offering rakeback and licensed in The Netherlands as well. Stars and party will soon receive a license among other ipoker clients.

Rakeback is an industry standard for as long poker exists.
Its a huge chunk of money for a low to mid stakes grinder. For some players, its their only form of income given the tremendous high rake in todays games, especially for fast games.

It seems fair to the player and wise for Unibet to start promoting and attaching (potential) players to it's brand, especially now given dutch market/license conditions. Its a win win, Unibet makes more from players finally willing to play on their site and players make a little extra by putting in volume on their site.

Hopefully something can be done as I would be delighted to be able to play your site.. Right now, i'm not able to as a dutchy that takes its job serious

It's not as simple as you make it sound

What hollandcasino have done is nothing like rakeback or loyalty. We have done mission style promotions as well. The HC poker boost is capped at €250 and set at less than 15%. To a NL200-400 player it makes no difference (you'll be paying less rake with us, even when the promo is active). We might do something similar in the future, with the mission mechanic

I'm no lawyer and can't comment on this in an official capacity. However, looking at article 2.6, it seems somewhat clear that loyalty is specifically forbidden:
Ook spaarprogrammaÂ’s zelf die zijn gekoppeld aan de deelname van een spel, zetten aan tot doorspelen. Deze programmaÂ’s zijn daarom niet verantwoord als zij gekoppeld zijn aan een kansspel met een hoog risicopotentieel.

Furthermore, there's a long list of restrictions here: https://kansspelautoriteit.nl/voor-z...isen-bonussen/, as I'm sure you know.

There's of course a reason no one in NL is offering loyalty to the players, apart from GG - hint: Unibet being greedy is not the reason Bet365 and Hollandcasino don't offer loyalty.

I of course agree it looks a bit odd with the current GG offering and I'm personally confused how it's been offered for so long without any issues. I guess it's possible that poker is somehow not meant to be affected by the restrictions set forth by the regulator, but that's not a gamble we can make.
Until we're completely sure that our loyalty system would be compliant - if GG's is, ours should be - we won't be switching it on.

NB Sweden, Belgium and Netherlands don't have loyalty. Denmark got a special setup.

Rakeback or flat rakeback, essentially giving back a tiny fee to a player that uses your website shouldn't have to be defined as a "spaarprogrogramma". Its just a cost reduction for loyal customers (the people that play more because they utilize a winning strategy long term). Paying back these fees won't be of much significance to an already losing poker player, and certainly not be the main drive for them to play more. You're misapplying the legislation for what/who it's meant for, which is why gg is right to allow for cashback.

You, in fact, could argue your missions in it's current form which are offered to Dutch players, are much more incentivizing to keep on playing. And even playing while being out of your comfort zone (different types of games players may not have the skillset for/familiar with), just to unlock tickets which increase in value the more games are played. How is this in accordance to the legislation and rakeback is not?

The legislation is simply allowing for loyalty programs...
