what will happen to my leftover tickets? i had farmed the exact number of ticket for various 50 and 100 euro events but with this late registration closing early nonsense i will have quite a few unused at the end of the series
Hi,
the late regs are correct, I think something you might have missed is that the events had variable levels, so for example the first 6 levels were 3 minute blinds, then 6 levels of 6 minutes etc.

Keep that in mind when planning to late register.

Leftover tickets will be able to used in other tournaments after UOS finishes but please keep in mind to have a reasonable amount of tickets, so the intention should be clearly to use the tickets for the UOS events.

Thanks

Half plus 1 cent - in other words so it would no longer be possible to buy in for at least 50 BB with it.

Think of it this way - you're going to helicopter drop 51 BBs on the head of some 25 NL player - maybe someone else will do the same at one of your tables - or he'll get to move up and play with you.

I ran the 12.60 into 150 whilst initially trying to lose it at PLO.

Now I'm in limbo.

Well sad that you have a company that when you loose is happy but when you win big, you account gets "suspended" for investigation and that's it. No more information will be given and your money will stay in limbo. So far a Danish account have been like this for more then 1 year.
As far as I know, right now 4 or 5 Danish players have this problem with Unibet.......

Jesus, you've been on here since 2008 and you're just making the same post time and time again. If you can't beat the games, don't play them. If you're suffering from negative variance, move to a different site or grind through it. If you suspect bots, don't play there. What do you want us to say?

One post you talk about how reg infested the games are, the next you talk about how bad the players are. Which is it?

I haven't been able to check out any of the action last few days due to traveling, how was the turnout for the Bigbang as far as GTD prize pool and players? Is it a freezeout?
As far as the dude complaining about the RNG or bots....IMO Unibet currently has top RNG and really well structured tournaments, I hope they don't change either. I do think some poker rooms have sketchy RNGs and I no longer play there, seems like a better solution than complaining to people on the internet.

Yes, it's a freezeout with 12 minute levels and no antes at the start. Ian Simpson tweeted an image of the lobby once the Big Bang was over. It smashed the guarantee, but the 44 entrants also didn't have to pay any rake. It will be interesting to see the numbers in future.

thanks for posting that. I'm guessing they chose Tuesday cause it's a slow day in the week? Kind of random day for the biggest buy in...Hope they add more Qualifiers to it, maybe 3 seat GTD or something...not sure if they had bigger qualifiers on Tuesday...

Could you please send me your user details?

I can assure that we won't suspend an account for no reason, certainly not because it is winning, I don't know the reasons without looking into it but we can't do that, it would bring us in serious trouble with regulators if we did.

Also keep in mind, that with poker, it doesn't matter for us who is the winning player and who is the losing player, as you don't play against us, you play against each other and we just collect the rake.

I asked our tournament manager about it.

1 there will be antes from start from next Tuesday
2 Tuesday is a good day for lots of our customers we have the two tickets guarantee on Tuesdays
3 No bigger qualifiers are planned at this moment

Thanks! Are left over UOS tickets automatically converted to basic tickets? And regarding the main even, can you rebuy right away or only if you bust?

Hi.
I can send you the links to where the cases are being presentet, but that is on a local Danish site and all is in Danish and I am not sure if I am allowed to link that here.
So I have now sent you a PM with the URLs,

But just to clarify, all these players have won their money on "bets" and not poker just so there is no misunderstandings.

@MODS Sorry if I am not allowed to post "non poker" problems here and just edit it away if that's the case.

LOL @ PLO.

I'd just play on now. You probably have something like 200 flops to go. I don't know what stakes you play but I doubt you're profiting 75 cents per flop seen at them - it would be something like 30 euros per 100 hands. Even if you are at least this is lower variance.

The above isn't even counting that presumably you're a favourite to run the ticket even higher over the remaining time at PL25

I wasn't going to play again at Unibet due to the shortstackers being allowed to rathole, however i gave it another go last week.

At small stakes plo it is worse than ever, more often half the table are shorties who do this. I think the last time it was discussed here you were having a meeting about it, did you decide that nothing was going to change?

i play PLO regulary on Unibet.
yeah it can be a pain... it is very profitable for shortstackers. That's why people do it. I suspect a bunch of bots as well. Without handhistories it's quite hard to prove but i remember some accounts with ridic obv indications.

UnibetPatrick mentioned a couple of times they are "working on a solution" however that will look like.

Fact is:
that the "rathole" function is used way more often by players who exploit this method than by rec/fun players who "feel unfortable" with alot of Money at the table.

Hi, I missclicked while converting bonuspoints to cash game tickets and bought 2k NL100 ticket while I wanted to buy 2k NL400 ticket, I play only NL400 so I would really appreciate a lot if this can be changed.

All leftover UOS tickets already got converted to normal MTT/supernova tickets.

I will forward the links you provided to a Danish colleague of mine to look into but this is a poker forum, so please only poker related questions should be asked please.

We will implement a new system in the upcoming months where will limit ratholing to a much smaller amount of times per day. While you can do it unlimited at the current stage, this will target specifically those that abuse the system.

We did not want to remove the option to rathole completely, as it protects recreational players from playing with more money than they are comfortable with and we also looked into the stats and checked who really benefits from this or not. Limiting the amount of times you can do it in the future, will target those abusers and hopefully improve the overall playing experience.

Hey,
I have removed the tickets and re-added the bonus points to the account instead.

Thanks

It is poker related. People who are winning mostly at poker but also at sports need a reminder not to **** where they eat.

Bookies ban winning sports bettors all the time.

Regulators don't force them to take the other side of a bet they don't want to take. There's no right to be gambled with.

243 flops left to go. I will definitely continue and clear it as I just found out I can open multiple tables with the one ticket so should be done in no time.

Thumbs up Unibet.

I see no point in discussing a sports betting case for another customer on here, and I don't have know much about this particular case either (all employees on here are strictly working with poker). I do have a more general comment though.

I'm Danish myself and posted a few comments from the Unibet profile on the site in question, when I held another role. Back then there was also a customer who claimed to have been scammed by us, because we didn't pay out his winnings. He thought he was smarter than us by taking some precautions, but he wasn't aware of all the data we've available, and it was one of the most obvious cases of abuse - wish I could tell you all the specifics. The thread was called "vellykkede klager over unibet". What I'm trying to say with this is that there's always two sides to the story. I'm not sure why they've stopped being active on the site, as I'm sure there's a whole lot more to it than just the customers side of the story Why do you think no customer has ever taken legal action in these cases?

I just arrived in Paris for the upcoming UO a couple of weeks in advance to get some travelling in. Anyhow, when I tried to login into Unibet, it would take me to the usual software before showing a black screen... Can we play on Unibet from France?

Hi,
same rule applies as the others with similar questions. As long as you don't deposit/withdraw while on holiday, you should be able to log in.

Yes it should work and I can see that attempted log in from our end.
Can you try if you can log in from your the main page using the browser version or on mobile?

It might have to do with ISP, could you try using a VPN with a non French IP?

Thanks
