Today I received a message saying "You have completed Major Challenge" and got 12 points, but I'm not sure which one. Both Texas and Omaha were partially completed so why did I get only one "completed" ?

If you have completed some steps but failed to complete a Challenge before the end of the quarter, we will credit your accumulated points for the next quarter.

In your case it was the challenge: "Reach the turn when it comes a spade" which you did not complete and received 12 points for. (Major challenge)

I also had half completed Major in Omaha..

You had a major Omaha challenge partly completed and received 28 points for it.
It's important to notice that you received those points on top of your balance for Q3 but only if you reach 500k+ challenge points they would be taken over to Q4.
As an example, you made 4900 points before the partly completed points are added, you then receive another 50 points, a total of 4950 points for the quarter, you are 50 points away from the next pay out step (5000 challenge points). You will lose the progress, since you are below 500k challenge points.

Same example, you have 4900 points and receive 150 more due to partly completed ones, totalling to 5050 points, you will receive the prize of 5k points and lose the remaining 50 points.

If you had 550k points at the end of the quarter, you would have a 50k difference from the previous step (500k points) and 50k points will be added to your new quarter.

I hope this makes it clear enough.

it is as I thought it to be, however, by my calculations it seemed that I should have been over 5000 points (should have gotten 60 points for Omaha major).

So, are those partially earned points somehow calculated as less valuable ?

I remember in Omaha it was 120 points for completed challenge, so that means that half of it is 60 and not 28 ?

In any case, I think those messages we get should be more informative.

This is a post about rigged RNG, variance or just bad run. I dont really know anymore. I had two really unlucky/bad run months in july and august. Specially the AI pre hands. So I decided to start counting all these situations since there is no HM working in here.

Since 1 sept I have lost 187 coinflips and won 62. I have lost 49 overpair vs underpair all in pre and won 8, which is really insane. I have lost a huge amount of AK,AQ vs Ax AI pre and barely won anything by myself when I get it in in these spots. Mostly vs fish.

Im really starting to feel cursed and cant understand these numbers. Maybe its time to quit playing online poker is the thing to do?

You are not alone i also tracked my All in Situations, last month my AA and KK lost the flips against AK,JJ,AQ i tracked 18 All in Situations preflop and i win exactly 1.
I have thought maybe a bad run but yeah the mind changes with evry strange situation
