It's not a major problem for early bustouts, but it's very common on Sundays (especially if a big freeroll is running) for the lobbies to be frozen (showing the wrong stacks and positions) and featuring incorrect numbers of payouts and/or the number of players remaining. My previous screenshot showed someone with 5 chips being in a higher position to a player with 4000 chips, when the reality was that both were busto.
In the UO50 satty on Sunday for almost the entire game, including after registration finished, the lobby was showing 6 tickets would be awarded. Then suddenly when we got to the so-called 'final table' two more prizes suddenly appeared as additional payouts, and it said there were 9 people left, when the table was 8-handed. Not knowing which position you are in as the bubble approaches creates a great deal of confusion, as the bubble situation has an effect on strategy, especially in satellites.

e.g. Just prior to ^this hand^, the lobby was saying that only 6 got paid, so I was playing a certain strat to suit that. Then it sort of updated (albeit with incorrect stack sizes), and showed that 7th and 8th got commiseration prizes, but it continued to list someone in 9th place with 42 chips, when he'd probably busted an hour earlier. (One never quite knows with Unibet if there might be someone sat out "invisibly", due to graphics glitches. If that was the case it would be a disaster to play a hand if he's about to blind out as the bubble boy). For a couple of orbits everyone had been playing like we were two or three spots off the bubble, when in fact we had all locked up at least half a buy-in.

I'm not moaning because I lost, by the way. I won the 250 ticket, but it was incredibly stressful trying to play the correct ICM push/fold strat when - for the bulk of the tournament - I didn't know what position I was in or how far we were from the bubble. Dysfunctional lobbies are just one of the reasons why I don't play on Unibet as much as I used to. Broken software does not make for a happy experience.

Which bots? Could you please specify your suspicions, ideally send me details via PM?

Thanks

This is an issue on our end that has been reported and is being worked on. I have that problem as well sometimes, not always. Restarting the client usually fixes it but yes it's an annoying one and we try to get it fixed asap.

Yes, laggy or not up-to-date tournament lobbies is together with disconnection/reconnection issue on top of our priority list of getting fixed.

We are having new and better hardware installed and devs are also working on the tournament monitor to be improved, so I'm hopeful it should improve in the near future.

I often have 10-Buy-In swings, had some 15 BI swings and rarely 20 BI swings. On some days I feel like the love child of Phil Ivey and Isildur, on others like I'm to stupid to beat a toaster.

I guess it has something to do with the player pool being looser on Unibet: they call down way too often and make stupid check/raises. But sometimes they get lucky and then you stand no chance against them.

I thought teh same after I switched from Stars. It could have to do with the player pool, then again its often a ton of setups. Idk.

Do Challenge Points accumulate slower the more you have or is that just variance?

They r proportional to rake paid if u play tournaments and some kind of simulation to game theory probability when u see the flop in cash games(there will be variance ofc.)

For SNG's, MTT's and Hexapro's you accumulate them at a steady rate (iirc 100 points per € rake), for Cash games it depends on the mission. Didn't do the math, but I guess some can be completed quicker then others on average. Of course this also adds variance, e.g. if your mission is to make a set on the flop 5 times this will take on average about 700 hands, but could also be completed in 100 hands or 2000 hands.

What stakes do you play?
I do experience a ridicolous amount of preflop set-ups
I am not saying it is rigged, Im pretty confident it is not, but having no hands and not being able to take a closer look gives me an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach.

It doesnt have to be
GG doesnt allow HUDs but allows you to check your results
(Not saying GG is less shady, this ****ing **** scumbag site is 9842748274 times as shady as Unibet could ever be)

Not allowing to check your results is out of any logic like "protecting of recreationals,bla,bla...".Party Poker even introduced "My game" ,a gto analysis of your own play.Unibet r way behind of their ideas 2 ,3 years ago.

Also not sure about what u r saying about GG...lately they have 10k buy in tournaments with top pros like Foxen,Romanovsky etc in the pool.Pros will be first out if anything shady is going on.

Like all pros were out on Full Tilt and Ultimate Bet right? High stakes degens are known for being very cautious and not taking any risks whatsoever.

As for setups, well, one can slightly avoid getting in the lower end of the setups, and yeah as people already mentioned, you see more flops, more turns, more rivers, then more equity gets realized which ends up in more setups and more losing with strong hands.

How do u know r u seeing more flops, more turns, more rivers if u can't look at hand histories? How can u check Unibet's RNG?They have their policy. We have our conspiracy. It is their business after all but people have a choice and I can't recommend Unibet anymore as I did before. There are better options right now.

Hmm i am not sure about this PartyPoker seems like Pokerstars, only regs and not many fishes.

Unibet only struggles with the small Playerpool

NL50 and a little bit of NL100. After 250k hands I'm break even due to rakeback. I was a long-term winner on Stars (>500k hands) and the fields there are way tougher. That has also given me a bad feeling but having asked a number of 2+2'ers, I can tell that the majority have been winning on Unibet. It may just be variance, I wouldnt want to say anything bad about Unibet at this point. Maybe others are experiencing way less setups, no idea...

@HelloNitty: Thanks!
