Someone keeps deleting this guys post on the bitcoin talk thread. Here's AlexTrebbert's chart of what has been happening over the last few months with regards to the rake percentages. This combined with the rake caps is a huge problem. Below is a chart Alex posted today in the official thread. Some of the highest hu rake I've ever seen. Not even worth playing the mid stakes mix and draw games anymore.

Maybe I cant log in because I had google two way authentication but there is no option for it now?... any help?
Constantly. Login failed. Start over. Same thing.

Hit then up on Twitter, emailed 3 times, no help. Extremely odd, they usually are very good via email. Frustrating as hell.

Safe, so they say. Roughly 24h - 48h downtime while they fix it.

This post explains it pretty well.

tl;dr They received an email on October 1st stating that the swcpoker.eu domain would be suspended on 12/31/20 unless they updated their registration data to show that they were in compliance with EU regulations, and they apparently ignored the email.

I usually try to defend SWC but this is beyond belief.

For anyone who doesn't follow the other thread this was posted by SWC last night. Apparently, games are up and running on a new domain....

Due to a gross oversight, SwC Poker has temporarily lost our .eu domain after Brexit became official. EURID posted clear rules before the change and we did not pay enough attention. There is no one else to blame but ourselves, and because we recognize our error, we are running a massive package of apology freerolls in our lobby for the next 7 days.

All funds are safe and any balance can be immediately withdrawn. SwC Poker has big plans for 2021, with a major update coming in a few months. New games, new features, and new support options will be added soon.

We thank our long time players for their support, and deeply apologize for this unexpected downtime.

The team has successfully migrated to our new home at SwCPoker.club

Players on desktop clients will need to download and install from SwCPoker.club/download

The HTML5 client can be found at play.swcpoker.club

8gameisfun: can you please post the updated rake charts that they recently changed with current comparison to ACR?

I hope whoever is making decisions over at SWC reads this thread. I am not a very critical person in general. We all make poor decisions. But you, whoever you are, are so incompetent I can't even begin to understand it. For a solid year you've chose the literal worst decision in regards to rake and having a healthy poker room ecology. Truly impressive.

The rakerace restructuring is just so dumb. How does this incentivize grinding in any way? They lowered the prize pool by 45% and flattened the prize pool. Why do they think that is profitable?

Not compared to ACR, but to historical rake in USD.

Even better graph, just for HU. Notice that rake caps got lowered only in games that barely ever hit the rake cap, but rake % was increased there. Pretty sneaky.

Ty. Rake specifically needs to be lowered at 10-20 chip nl/pl games. 4% there is ridiculous.

Grabbed this off of ✅ SwC Poker ♣️ Player Lounge (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5273481.0). Posts are being censored in the main SWC thread and that thread is currently locked so there is no way to publicly communicate with SWC now.

Rake is some of the highest online. Surprised a game ever gets started with $2 hu nl/pl and $1.25 limit rake caps at mid stakes.

Same guy posting charts on BTCtalk SWC thread. Got these from there. Rake isn't even remotely competitive on SWC anymore. Things have really changed there. Did SWC get sold or hire new people?

New ownership has been the suspicion of a lot of players for a while now. Although we are yet to see any proof of this.
