Yeah, well after converting my linux end of line symbols to DOS ones and eliminating the gap in Gen eral it works. Nice job.

Have you by any chance sent this to SwC?

Oh, and in XP it is right click and select Merge.

The first inkling of my withdrawal is just now showing up in my wallet. No confirmations yet, but it's there.

no I didn't send it to anyone. at this point I don't even think they have a XP machine. I'm sure they will figure it out in due time or someone will send them this link. apparently you and me are the only ones that care and we can just go on with the reg fix.

hello seals if you're listening Active Category= in the registry shouldn't be 3156.

Hows the low stakes mixed game action on here? Could I deposit $100 and play some mixed HORSE or 8game?

Here it is wrapped in "code" brackets. Should make it easier to copy.

Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\swcpoker\PokerClient\General]
"Active Category"=dword:00000001

Aside form the odd case of incompetence and software/server issues, I find this is the best bitcoin poker site around. The software is great compared to the other bitcoin sites. The action is so so.. not very busy but you can definitely get a game anytime at low stakes. Freerolls are on every couple of hours. There is always a table or two at the low stakes and some tourney starts every 30 mins. horse isn't so popular but holdem and omaha are.

just come and join and play some freerolls. no need to deposit or even give your name.

They've posted on Twitter and I've seen them talk about it in the chat lobby. I don't think they are able to post here.

If they post an update or if I see them in chat I will ask about it and show them your fix, and then let you know.

I don't play them myself, but I see others posting action requests for them in the lobby. I guess it depends on if you're on when the other mixed game/HORSE players are there. There are also some low stakes HORSE MTT's.

I don't think they take a rake at the lowest levels of OFC, and then the others are 2% for 3 handed and 1.5% HU.

They posted on Twitter and in the chat lobby that they think it should be fixed now.

I don't do twitter and if you can't log in you can't see the lobby. But it works again and my withdrawal came through.

I understand, that's why I posted it here.

I was just including where I got the info from. Glad that it worked. Their post also said the client now supports Windows 10, in case that affects anyone.

It's been a few days now, but if anyone hasn't been on they also came out with a new tournament schedule.

Most of the old tournaments are still there, but now there are a bunch more added in between... like a 30 chip bounty tournament, 100 chip nightly, and the old 50 chip smooth.

was working fine before the last 2 updates...now the one today messed up things even more. Win10. If it was working fine why the update? Don't see any new feature if I can somehow get thru the crashes....this site has been a mess since Micon left...

Did you send an email to support?

I don't know much at all about that stuff, but I have seen the recommended first fix for people having problems is to try turning on "Force Legacy Graphics" under Options -> General and then restarting the client.

I think the update might have had to do with the new tournaments that were added, like the bounty. Also the cashier now gives you a new deposit address every time you want to deposit.

Will try the legacy graphics but never needed to before yesterday. So before adding new features they should test it b/c they are annoying a lot of people. Thanks

Yeah I've been fortunate that my old Win 7 laptop and settings have been a match that worked well for the software.

I never really had many problems, I would occasionally have the client crash when I had a lot of things running but it only happened once every few days or so. And I could relaunch it within 5 seconds and not miss anything. But after seeing suggestions for others to try legacy graphics I turned that on and haven't had one crash in over a month.

If that doesn't help then yeah try support. They might be able to help you adjust some settings on your side. I've seen solutions for others involving anti-virus, firewall, internet connections, permissions etc. And if not at least you'll be helping them diagnose a bug that they can fix.

It's not anonymous in the sense of like Bovada, there are screen names... but it is anonymous in that you don't give any personal info to the site when you sign up. Just an email address.

There are a few standard methods to buy bitcoin, depending on how you want to pay. If you want to use a bank account you can purchase from Coinbase or Circle. If you want to use a credit card use Circle. If you want to use cash then check out LibertyX and see if there is a location near you.

Overall this is my favorite site to play on. There are things I'd like to see added and stuff but I still think it's one of the best options, especially for someone in the US.

I like the way the software looks, how you can choose different cards/backgrounds etc or add your own mods, the hand replayer is very smooth, they have almost all the poker variants you could want, the rake is very low, you can earn rakeback and everyone gets 50% rakeback for playing shorthanded, they give a lot back in rewards, and the withdrawals are fast, free and unlimited.

These are what my tables look like with a few mods, but you can get a general idea of how the site looks:

No, they don't have a phone number for support that I know of. But they do have an email. Or if you have general questions about the site you can ask here or in the chat lobby.

I'd recommend downloading and checking it out first to get a feel for the site before you buy bitcoin or anything to see how you like it.

Ty for the info. I love differnet variants as I almost never play hold em online anymore. I miss the ft/pokerstars days of 8 game, or horse etccc. My 2 fav games are plo and stud hi lo. I also like triple draw so I would be interested in a site that provides these. I will check it out.

jungmit give it a try. I guarantee you will like it. try a freeroll or one of the 25 chip bigger freerolls on the weekend.

you can get bitcoins in many ways. easiest way is to open your craigslist and find some guy selling bitcoins, meet him or call and get $25 in bitcoins or whatever you can afford. but you don't need bitcoins to play since they have freerolls every hour or so.

yes traffic is low, but there is nothing wrong with that unless you're looking to 16 table. you can always find a table at some stake except the high stakes.

I tried playing on another site but the freeroll had 793 entrants, swc freerolls have 50-60 on average so you can win some chips in a short time with good odds.

I all probably play. But I don't want to play penny stakes. I can afford t make a decent deposit. I have no time to play multis. I play for 2-3 hours a day and don't get weekends off.
