damnit Im gonna try to dl and install this software again, i cant get this **** to run on my WIN 7 laptop or my win 7 PC, which kind of verifies its not my setup.

Rarely, but it has happened a few times. Fortunately the client launches really quickly so I've been able to re-open and continue the same hand every time.

And yeah, aside from the bugs that are being worked out, I agree that overall the software is the best available to Americans. I've been saying that since beta testing so I'm glad I'm not alone in my thinking.

The only reason I have yet to deposit is because I have been kicked out of to many games due to software going offline and I have gotten and seen quads and straight flushes at a alarming rate. It's poker so bad beats happen but it's extreme in my opinion on this site draw games included. Other then this I think the software is amazing it just doesn't feel very real to me. Could be paranoid but I see it a lot and other players complain of same thing.

oh well looks like my pcs and this software dont like each other, Id add another person to the site but i cant figure what is so special about this software that it wont install and every other site does install

does this mean anything to anyone

if others having this trouble

right click on my computer
go to properties
click on advanced system settings
under performance, click settings
click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.
click Add, browse to the executable file for the program and add it.

except when you try add SWCPOKER as the ex eption it says that this app needs dEP turned on to work

so back to square one but thanks

Just to verify, is the problem that it will not install, or that the installation will not run after it is installed?

Do your accounts have Administrator rights?

The fact that are having problems on two computers at the same location suggests a possible router firewall issue or ISP blocking.

If possible, consider taking the laptop to another location, connect to a trusted WiFi there, and try downloading and installing. You can wait until you are home to enter your account name and password.

Consider asking for suggestions in http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/48...echnical-help/ but obviously don't give anyone your account name or password, or allow them to watch you in Skype.

The setup file (downloaded a few minutes ago) is currently
swcsetup.msi
(right click on file, properties)(also look at Security tab)

11.7 MB (12,312,576 bytes)
Opens with Windows® installer (make sure this is correct)
The file size will change when they update the software in the future with a new download

its not the firewall, its doesnt even try to boot up, i get the GAME CLIENT has stopped working window. and otehr times i installed the software, it knew to update the software and updated it but never booted, so its getting past the firewall

I redid my laptop and this time with WIN 64bit and now it doesnt even try to start before crashing, its been a few weeks since i tried installing on my main pc, ill try that sometime today and see what happens

it jsut dont make sense since all the otehr sites installed and work fine

Just checked properties and everything is like yours above with special permissions not checked

I googled and searched the forums a lot. but I am really new to it and there wasn't really the one best way to go to find for my problem.
sry I know that has nothing todo w/ swcpoker. but what's the most legit/safe way to transform btc to usd for credit card/skrill? I don't even know if I can book money just like that onto a skrill prepaid card. How do you guys do it?

I figure ppl here know the most, since there are using it on a daily basis.

edit: how about coinbase, Circle, Kraken and Bitstamp? and which one is fastest or probably most reliable?

Seems like the only option is VirWoX.... Because I only want to use btc if I can make it rather instantly to usd again...

Swc has gone way down hill - lousy rakeback - no more krill rolls - place really sucks now!!

Betcoin.ag must have got all their players - I see a lot of old swc players there playing!
