i agree with the guys above about anonim poker: it is boring AF.

on the other hand the software is really nice/smooth.
the CS is also really fast and helpful which is not that hard to do with a non-existing clinet base tbh.

Question for Phil if he is reading this: will you guys add some other forms of SNG other then 3handed hypers? When MTTs are coming? I really want this site to succeed but you need to add more forms of poker ASAP. PokerStars removed turbo and reg HUSNG from its offering and you guys should at least try to fill that void.

Heads-up Hyper Turbos would be a good start. Every other site offers it — recs love it and it generates good, quick revenue.

Just want to warn any Canadians that this crappy site's payment processor is broken, they finally admitted as much after first trying to blame me, meaning any CC deposit exposure you put on their site, they will NOT be able to put back to your CC.

They will tell you to use muchbetter but this still will not allow your initial deposit to be withdrawn because this has to be to the same method as deposited, which is broken on their end, so they are effectively stealing from you, as well they rudely say they are in no hurry to fix it and give no timeline.

Avoid this terrible site. Worst site and support experience I've ever seen.

Just went on RIO for the first time in ages. Peak Saturday night and there's 1 player in the NLHE pool across all stakes, 9 across 10 & 20 PLO. Mental just how badly this site has done. I wonder what the plan is because surely rip up plan A and start with scrapping anon, lowering rake and starting to advertise more would be better than this?

Yeah when you think about the hype rio had about making online poker great again this is so sad it's allmost not funny. Well it is funny and they got what they deserved with the anon games. Unibet is doing just fine with the five aliases rule so it blows my mind they thought total anonymity is the way to go.

Starting a business with the exclusion of a part of your potential customer base was a mistake right from the start. Some people won't play on an anon-site, some won't wanna play without their HUD. Common sense tells to first build a strong foundation before getting fancy. Can't say that i'm happy to see them fail, but also not sad to see, that it doesn't work out. The vision of RIO, what online-poker should be, doesn't line up that much with mine.

The site started giving out 2€ SNG tickets for me, so that's nice. Takes a long time to get a 3-handed SNG running though, am I the only one getting these tickets?

There have been some bundles in the past. Don't know if they still give those because I blocked rio promos because the bundle was time after time a 50c ticket. Or whatever the smallest limit is. More like an insult than hey come play with us.

There was a promo where every day you played cash? you would get SNG tickets the next day or something like that, best I received was 3x €5 tickets which I managed to play but mostly you get like €1 and €.50 ones. I've had times where I had the SNG open for an hour without it ever starting. Sad that they expired after midnight of the same day as it's not our fault games aren't running lol.

I'm not understanding what they are doing with this site.

It's a complete ghost town, and obviously isn't going to get any better on its own. What's the point of continuing to burn through money keeping it running?

I think Phil should give up, cash people out, sell the software, and be done with it.
