The site is buggy and there are errors whether RIO wants to admit to them or not.
I may return, as like I said, there's profit to be made, but nothings more titling than losing multiple stacks because people can't program working software.
Negatives;
Software glitches
These range from closing all open tables and losing any money already invested, closing the whole application and all tables (If you open the application again quick enough you'll still be in your current pots however), Stack sizes not showing during the middle of a hand (making it very difficult to play), The error known as the "BB Glitch" when clicking a bet amount it will not increase and you'll bet 1BB (a huge issue especially in PLO), tables freezing mid hand on one particular table and working fine on the rest. Please note these glitches have cost me well over 300BB.
Cashing out
I was unable to cash-out from my original deposit card, I've never had this issue before across any gambling or poker website. I had to add more money to my account to add another card, and then withdraw, this withdrawal is still pending however, so cannot update on this until it is completed or declined.
Positives;
Soft Games
The games are soft. You will make money if you're a half decent player at the current level of play on the site. I ran-up a massive profit over the past week playing, and I'm sure others are doing the same.
Software Design
The software itself is extremely aesthetically pleasing, I think the design and user interface is very nice to look at. There are still improvements to be made, but Partypoker could definitely take some tips. Obivously time will tell once resizing of tables becomes available, and more options are brought it, but all in all it's one of the better looking sites available.
Now for the middle of the road issues, particularly promotions and splash pots. RIU offers promotions such as Big Bluff Wednesday and I believe a day is hero calls, which offer cash incentives too either bluff or hero call on given days. I personally am not a fan of these promotions as they influence game play, on Wednesday for example multiple people said they burned money trying to bluff to earn the promotion - Whilst many will see this as a positive thing, I personally don't like it, as it means adjustingly calling lighter and increasing variance. This may not be an issue long term, but as there are maybe 100 people playing at any given time, and 10 cash prizes, each player has a reasonable chance of winning should they choose to compete.
Secondly I'm not a fan of rakeback this way, variance city is how I like to think of it as a PLO player. At 10PLO a 20BB+ splash will almost always result in a three way all in, which isn't what I want to be playing. If I wanted to flip coins I'd do it on blackjack, not at a poker table. It also offers a HUGE downside to playing outside your normal stakes, as if a 100BB or so splash comes along when I decided to jump in a bigger game for fun, I have to either lose a bunch of EV folding, or just have to gamble my stack away. It also deters fun players from buying in to the site for say $100 and playing a stack or two of 50NL or PLO, as the site doesn't seem to target fun players, how fun do you think it will be for a casual once a month player on a weekend to deposit $100, jump on a table, see a 1000 big blind splash pot, lose and be left with nothing? I doubt he'll redeposit on the same software, instead choosing another site to play on.
All in all my experience has been a rather negative one, simply because of my issues being blames on running windows seven. I've made money sure, but money isn't the only thing in the world, especially for the more casual players who are needed to keep a site running.
Hi Mocktail,
I'm sorry to hear you're having a poor experience.
For the hands which your tables froze or closed, you can email
support@runitonce.eu. They will review the hands and award funds appropriately.

We appreciate your feedback on Splash the Pot. We're taking all suggestions into account and are having internal discussions on ways to improve STP based on user feedback. This includes PLO specific splashes. If and when we have an update for Splash the Pot we will post an update in this thread.
Again, we apologize for the issues you've experienced and we hope as we continue to roll out updates you will consider testing out our software. Let us know if you continue to experience issues.
