Hello, I play Spin & Gold tournaments in GG POKER ROOM. I did some calculations, and some things doesn't add up for me.
For those who don't know, there's "Spin & Gold Challenge" which let's u earn additional cashback. Basically first u choose how many hours u want to play (1,2,3,5 or 8 hours), and then based on the stakes u play, u choose points(gold) u have to generate in order to complete the challenge (u get cash at the end).

For those who won't check the images i will post the exact numbers below:

My example here will be: 8 hours - Challenge 3 - Mine 16,000 gold - to get UP TO 45% CASHBACK - u receive 31.50$ every time after u complete [8 hours challenge 3] .
At 3$ u get : 36 gold for 1st - 24 gold for 2nd - 12 gold for 3rd place. Rake is 7% = 0.21$

Let's look at the ''perfect case scenario'' - i ONLY get 1ST PLACES.
16000(gold):36(gold per 1st place) = 576 first places.
576(games)x0.21$ = 120.96$ rake paid.
So i paid 120.96$ rake and i get 31.50$ back = 26% Rakeback

Now let's look at the "worst case scenario" - i only get 3rd places
16000(gold):12(gold per 3rd place) = 1333 3rd places
1333(games)x0.21$=279$ rake paid.
So i paid 279$ rake and i get 31.50$ back = 11.2% Rake back

Let's look at the same challenge with the highest stake available - 200$.
1st place-2400gold 2nd place-1600gold 3rd place-800gold.

I need 7first places x 2400gold = 16800 gold
Rake is 14$ (7%)
7games x 14 = 98$ rake paid
I get 31.50$ back = 32.1% rake back

So with the highest stakes (best case scenario) i still can't get even close to that UP TO 45% CASHBACK promised. I did these calculations with a lot of challenges/stakes combinations, and it's still kind of the same story. I would highly appreciate any help, since i have absolutely no idea on how can some1 reach these numbers.

16000/36 is not 576, it's 444.44 but it still only works out at 34% for me.

Thanks a lot for the correction on the calculations. I did a lot of those that day, so no wonder i had that wrong -.-. But yeah its almost 34% with the right numbers. Still far off what they "promise".

is it possible that you receive about 30% but only from this specific promotion, to which you have to add other rakeback percentages obtained through the vip system and other things?

Hmm, i'm not quite sure what do u mean by that. I'm also platinum status (which promises 35% cashback by the end of the wekk), even tho im only getting like 15% from it. I have no idea whats up with that, maybe will have to contact support

Hi, sorry for the late response but I was looking through the spin & gold games today and had the exact same question that you have.
So after looking and trying out some numbers for a long time, I finally found out where they get their 45% and 80% cashback percentages from.

Basically they are referring to their 6-max spin & golds (where you obviously get more gold points for finishing 1st).
The "up to" 45%, 55%, 80% etc. cashback is what would happen if you would play only 6-max spins and won EVERY SINGLE ONE of them.
Which is of course ridiculous and misleading, especially for a site that claims to care so much about responsible gambling.

There's no need to do it either because the actual 15-20% rakeback you can get with this challenge is already quite attractive on top of the other rakeback GG offers (except for the PVI of course, another stupid thing about this site).
