Pokerstars Software forcefully sat me out in final 3 of satellite Pokerstars Software forcefully sat me out in final 3 of satellite

I play in the Pokerstars Ontario pool where there seems to be a few issues with geolocation etc.
I was in the final 3 of a $10 satellite to a $100 dollar tournement. There was 2 seats GTD and 3rd place received $9.30.
When I knocked out the 4th opponent it made a 3 stack sizes even 20.5-22 big blinds.
The software then sat me out and would not let me sit back down even after reloading the software. I tried almost everything except for restarting my computer.
It then worked all of a sudden when I had 4bb left and was basically doomed.
I contacted supported and he acknowledged that he could see that I was sitting out and his response was as follows:

" I see you make reference to Tournament ID 3500761557. The only refunds we process is in the amount of the buy-in as it is impossible to know which place a player would finish.
As you were awarded $9.30 in this tournament I have process a credit of the remainder $0.70 for the $10 buy-in"

I don't see how this is fair as I had roughly $70 worth of EV on the table that was taken from me at no fault of my own.

After I voiced my frustration, the live chat person said he would forward my complaint to the complaints team.
As I am now in a regulated market in Ontario. If I wish to make a complaint to igaming Ontario, Pokerstars would need to provide to with a complaint/reference number for me to make a formal complaint with them. The live chat person said he has no reference to provide. If igaming Ontario expect pokerstars to provide me with a reference number I am not able to escalate my compliant to them which must be against the terms of their agreement.

am I just in my frustration?
or should I just forget about it and move on

How do you know it wasn't your fault? There are a milllion things that could have caused this.

Forget about it an move on. There is nothing for Pokerstars to do in this situation and them refunding you the remainder of the buy-in was more than fair.
