Anyone wlse having a fair amount of disconnection issues? Happens when I open/close a rable or when I click on a main lobby option.. ex. Click to see my chest progress.

You probably got 250 coins, which is equivalent to 2.50 in store. There is a cash rebate section. 1k is $10

I just earned a black chest but didn't receive a Christmas chest with it

Just realized I earned a black chest at 1230 am this morning and you cant receive two in a day. Thats so backwards. i raked over 250 in a day and got zilch. Apparently the play was to stop grinding today and get the last bit of points the next day.

I'm sure it's just me, but it seems super random how quick my progress bar moves to collect a chest.

How do they calculate rake? Is it rake I actually pay myself from winning pots or is it rake collected/number of players at the table?

Whenever I closed a table the client froze on me. I disabled the graphics and no longer have that problem. Settings ---> Table Appearance ---> Table Graphics ---> uncheck the "enable new PokerStars graphics" and then restart the client

Yeah, I’ve been getting my progress bar close to the next level and calling it a day. Luckily for me that works out to be just about all of the time I have to grind in a day. I thought I saw something saying that it is one chest every 24 hours. Haven’t wanted to test that but hopefully someone at a lower level would be willing?

They will change the amount for a chest based on each player. We don’t know what their algorithm is, but winning players need more for a chest.

Not sure how rake per player is calculated, I assume weighted contribution like most every site uses now a days. It doesn’t seem to update instantly.

Yes it is a weighted contribution.

And I have seen the chest progress move “randomly” as well. When I opted in to the Christmas chests I was close to completing one and the bar never moved. Then when I finished my session I got that one, Christmas, and another one.

I did screw myself though because I’m now at a higher level so it is taking me longer to hit the Christmas chests.

You get higher EV chests now and a higher EV Christmas day chest.

Yep. Only 1 per a 24 hour. It sucks I literally grinded an extra 30 min to get the last 3-4k points. I wasn't really thinking. It's really poor design though, it will only cause people to play less not play more. Oh well. Lesson learned.

PLO8 seems to be missing one or two stake levels. There is $2, $10, then $50? That doesn't make sense.

Also, why do the tables auto close? Seems like it kills action and getting tables started. I was at a table with 4 other players and they all happened to sit out. The table auto closed. That makes no sense...

If someone is trying to get multiple tables going in any and all of the non NLHE games, it is impossible to do it unless two people are willing to play heads up. Rec players never want to do that. They want to jump in full tables. You have automated systems preventing that from happening by force closing tables when a second table is open and one player after the first sits. They're sitting out because they want the table to fill...

Am I missing something here? It seems like the software is literally cutting off its own ability to generate rake by evaporating tables before they get a chance to start, and in some cases nuke a table just because a few players happened to need a break at the same time. Might need some reevaluation there imo

Have they changed the chest notifications? It seems like the lobby screen just opens up in the middle of a hand when a chest is earned. I lose my micro stakes GTO mindset when this happens

I haven't been able to login since Thursday due to a session transfer and an error that follows the session transfer status bar. Well, I don't have another session running. Ive contacted customer support through email, Twitter and Twitter DMs, and they don't get back to me. Ive supplied them a video of what happens when I login. No help, no response, nothing. Not sure what to do.

One question and one request of my fellow Pennsylvanian's. First, is it like years ago when you make your first withdrawal that they credit back the original form of payment first and then let you send the rest wherever you want? I'm good with that if that's the case.

My PA brethren, please stop berating the fish when they make horrible plays. If they suck out on you just say NH and move on until you get the money back later. I can't believe in 2019 we still have to talk about this.

I'm guessing that's by design. I actually hate how it's mixed. I play on FanDuel a lot and bet on sports over there bc they require separate bankrolls. Much simpler

There will always be people who won't ever understand and some simply don't care. It's sad, but it is what it is...I don't even bother chatting anymore. Distracts me anyway. I think the best play is to politely explain to whoever's berating why it's a bad idea (1) Why make a losing player's losing more unpleasant? 2) Why be disrespectful? Don't hate the playa, hate da game...) and just move on. The people capable and/or interested in learning will learn and those who aren't won't. So I say the simple initial effort is worth it and after that there's likely no point so don't waste any more time
