You don't have to take to support. Just go into settings and click to have casino games tab removed. Then when you open chests you won't get any casino bonuses.

You can even go back into setting later if you feel like doing the casino thing or taking advantage of the daily casino promo stuff. You will not see the casino promo stuff in challenges either when you have it turned off in settings.

Moved to (the great state of) PA recently and am having a lot of trouble with geolocation after creating my account today. Have tried a ton of things, including contacting support multiple times, but my Network Status Reports still have all "Error - Status 0" codes. I connect to the client just fine, but it can't scan my computer correctly or whatever it needs to do.

Anyone else have this issue or know how to resolve it?

I also recently moved to PA and am having geo issues. It seems to be randomly pinging an IP address off my old location in CA or associating my IP address with CA somehow. I just randomly get a "you're not in PA" message and get booted. anyone know how to fix IP location?

Do you live close enough to neighbors that your computer picks up their WIFI networks? I originally had geolocation issues because my PC was in my basement and wasn't picking up any wifi networks (the computer was hardwired to the internet, no wifi). Pokerstars apparently needs to be able to ping multiple wifi networks on your computer in order to triangulate your location.

What I had to do was go out and buy a wifi-extender which plugged right into a usb drive on my computer. It was able to pick up dozens of wifi networks from around my neighborhood and this solved my geolocation issues permanently. Cost about $15 on Amazon I believe.

I use a Realtek wifi adapter like you described for internet, and also see my neighbors wifi connections. Appreciate the advice though, and others should definitely try this as wired/ethernet connections don't seem like they would work for geolocation verification (counter-intuitive to me but w/e).

I rage quit Stars for the max 5 years after they gave me a ridiculous requirement for chests, even though I wasn't winning or playing that much. I'm sure they did it because I had a big-ish win in the casino on a slot which is disgusting. Also this auto locked me out of my Sky Poker account.

Chests have been live since the inception of the site. If you're referring to personal challenge chests, they have been around for a long time too and are offered ~every month or two. I think I remember reading you are new here, so this is likely just be your first time seeing them.

I scrolled around this thread and saw that someone else had this error message. It didn't seem like they never found a solution and ended up buying a new laptop. I just got a new HP laptop for Xmas and am running PT4 on it while I play. I have played for around 2 hours total and have had this message pop up three times. It basically just freezes pokerstars and I have to exit out of it and then open it back up. However, when I open it up, I am no longer seated at any of the tables.

Was just curious if anyone else had ever had this issue while playing on an HP and if they had any easy resolution. Thanks for the time.
