Hello all,

I have the problem that my monthly Poker Challenge as well as the Mini Poker Challenge are way too big for the volume / level I am playing at.

Right now I almost exclusively play $2 spins, and as I have a full-time job I am not playing a lot anymore. Within the first 28 days of this month I played about 620 spins. Now they gave me a Mini Poker Challenge of 24$, which sounds nice, but I'd have to play 375 $2 spins to clear this bonus, and only got three days for this - and I am definitely not rolled for $5 spins.

Anyone else got this problem? I remember these challenges used to be doable a while ago (I was playing cash games back then though) but now it feels like they keep pushing you to play above your bankroll limits or to invest more and more time every day to get your bonus.

Yeah that's pretty common to have too big challenges based on the chat in the discord. The whole challenge system is a bit flawed anyways. Games start to die when the players have cleared it twice at the end of the 28 days period allso.

Yea this is the point of the challenges. Remember Stars isn't giving them to you out of the kindness of their hearts, they have a ton of data on you and will set the bar right where they know you'll either not make it or push yourself out of your comfort zone and lose the extra amount they're giving you back to the pool while they generate extra rake.

And the most bizarre thing is that there are players that haven't cleared or even bothered to start playing stars in like six months because the challenges are too big and nothing changes. They must be thinking great success we have chased these players away. Wonder what gg is doing and growing constantly.

The problem I see is that even if I bother trying to clear that bonus, the following month they'll give me an even bigger bonus. I know that PokerStars is not a charity, but a bonus that keeps me from even trying to clear it is also not really bringing them anything. Then they should rather only offer a lower bonus - I'd definitely prefer an extra 10% that I can clear compared to an extra 40% that I can't clear.

In my case they gave me 40% and after a month of upswing they reduced me to 10%.

Now the bonus is huge (like before) but in this time it is too much effort for just 10%. Everyone is free for do what he wants but for me it doesn't compensate the effort.
