Thanks for throwing some good juju on me. I should pop a few more chests this weekend. We’ll see if it worked.
I don’t think there is a way to do it through the client, but if you contact live support, they can send you an Excel sheet of your chest rewards. I learned this when I thought they missed the first payment on the “exclusive poker challenge” because it didn’t show up in the cash transactions. Turned out the first payment was technically a chest, so the Excel file had a record of it.

Definitely this. It almost feels like playing in the live cash PLO games. I’ve been regging the .5/1 and 1/2 PLO tables. Quite a refreshing change from the agent-based and Bitcoin sites I’ve been playing at over the last few of years.

FWIW, I’ve also noticed chat picking up. Some good banter and wholesome chat that’s good for the game. But also seen a few incidents of players speculating during multi-way pots, and of course, the inescapable blow ups that tend to end with violent, racist, or homophobic insults. In general though, the chat still seems way tamer than the other sites I’ve been playing at.

Ah - I see. I'm grinding the 2nl / 5nl. I think I'll just keep slumming the mircro stakes for now.

I only played one session on mobile and it worked fine, although I couldn't figure out how to sit back in after timing out.

Nice. I might give that a try in the coming weeks.

Thinking to make a move up North, any suggestions on cities close to 31/69 on the border of IN? Not very familiar and need to be close for work. (my territory goes from MI down to Indianapolis) I was checking out Niles and Cold Water, thoughts?

Niles would be a good spot. It is directly across the boarder. I'm in South Bend on the north side and I am 5 mins from the boarder. If you want water go a little west to St. Joesph. let me know if you need any help.

Thoughts on betting entire account on Michigan -10000 to score one point today? Free 1% or am I missing something?

Max bet is $10 with the supercharged. But you can also bet the same line at -10000 for a free 1% return.

To win they have to score exactly 1 point

Is there any benefit to saving the chests and opening them all at once? I'm on I think chest 4 (just playing NL2 and last night started NL5).

Same same. I've just been opening them as I get them and also doing the single $1 casino bet each day for a box.

You see any difference in 5nl vs 2nl? I've nearly reached $200 in my account from bet promos on FoxBet / 2nl off my $30 deposit. Once I hit $200, i'll move up. I'm practicing very conservative bankroll management I was doing well last fall at 5nl / 10nl on Ignition last fall before I had too many beers and spun a $700 bankroll away on the roulette wheel. Didn't have to heart to spend anymore precious bitcoin on international sites.

You do any studying as well? I just purchased Master the Microstakes Poker (Alton Hardin)...heard good things about it and am not ready to drop a sub on Upswing just yet.

I started playing 20 years ago, used to play a bunch then took about 10 years off other than a game here and there or a Vegas trip. I've read a bunch of books back then but honestly can't remember them too well and they were more geared towards limit as NL hadn't totally exploded yet.

I played 5000 hands at NL2 with a 40BB/100 rate. I just started NL5 last night and played about 600 hands...honestly it's slightly more competitive and by that I mean you only see 75% of idiotic plays/calls. I only ended up two cents at the end of the session, I was up about 150 BB at one point and took a few bad beats.

I noticed some people I played with at NL2 in the NL5 last night.

Nice mug BTW I saw someone on PS yesterday with a porcupine avatar.

That was me. You are doing much better than I...I've been splashing chips a bit more and calling off AK way too much preflop. Lesson learned....don't try to bluff calling stations and don't be too stubborn with big pairs. If the opposition is playing back...they probably have it at 2nl.

7500 hands, bb/100 @ 17.17 on Pokerstars MI

At NL5 I'm playing a little tighter but at NL2 I was probably playing about 25% more hands that I really should have been. I just played really aggressive especially if I had position. I'd 3bet the flop with bottom pair or a draw just to get things heads up or folds around. Was working well for me.

I had some good reads on some people and color coded them. Found someone who about 75% of the time would limp with anything and wouldn't' call a preflop raise with anything short of ultra premium....so when it was his blinds I'd always raise.

I had a good read on a manic at NL5 and cleaned him out on multiple occasions. Then I suffered a couple of bad beats on another table and well all that was gone overall :P

I'm playing 4 tables just as an FYI.

I think I'm going to save them up and "hide" the casino in setting before opening. I have more than enough casino bonuses that I will never clear.

They expire, don't they? I had eight or ten backed up and was thinking about just letting them sit, but I think they have an expiration date.

It is entirely possible that they don't expire, and that date is for something else. I just remember seeing "expires" on the chests page, so I opened mine.

Edit: My main reason for wanting to let them sit was me speculating that I might get tournament tickets I could actually use if I waited a month or two to open more. What a garbage system they've developed.

So if I'm not in Michigan how can I play on PokerStars Michigan? My bank account and address are there...but I'm not there. I should be able to play there, legally. I tried a VPN but the program detects it and says I can't play because of that.

How can I play PSMI from outside of MI?

getting a lag when seating and a tiny bit when betting. seemed like it was crisper a week ago.

You have to be physically inside Michigan to play

So do that.
