you guys realize all of these agents and clubs are running illegal gaming operations that can be classified under Rico law? Theyre also transacting in sums culminating over 100s of thousands if not millions. Then advertising on IG twitter forums etc that theyre doing this. Agents and operators are literally a ticking time bomb sitting on 30 to life in prison when govt decides they want to end this scam.

I agree with Tim here on both topics.

Results in my reasonably large sample look like a normal site, some people winning, some losing, no huge outliers that look suspicious to me.

The regulars that are normally big winners are generally all doing well, especially after rakeback.

-
There's also a lot of talk about how shady agent sites are.

The main issue with them is that it puts the burden on you to choose who to trust, and choose what risks to take. Casual/new players aren't always able to properly assess that, so some get burned.

Many players also get greedy, ignore risks, and then are surprised by the consequences. Obviously we hear of these cases the most.

That said, the are also many people working in the space who can easily cover the losses in the case of any issues, and intend to. Not only because they are honest, it's also a smart business decision.

Is this really possible? Can you please elaborate on this. I recently played on this app and believe something fishy is going on with the rng.

Can you give us some examples of this? Is this all of online poker that this is going on with? Or are you saying this is just pokerbros?

I would have to agree the club based motto is a scam. We are not going to address the "variance" factor of the software that will be for a different thread as it will be moved anyway. But more how the club operation works.

Anyone can start a club with pppoker it was 10,000 chips to begin. Now I sell you those chips for 1chip for 1.00usd and maybe offer some crazy bonus because why not, it's not costing me anything. Now another club same union starts up thats now 20,000k being sold for real cash via some "agent". It all starts in the beginning and no one sees it. You see all this action going on but its realy just horses playing deep with chips club owners gave them to go after the people who deposited and clean house.

Think about it you see hands multiple players raising re-reraising with 27 and other hands you wouldn't even limp in with. Why you ask ? They have nothing to lose, and if your up against a 3-4 person team your "made" hand has just shrunk drastically.

Do some people get paid? Sure if they didnt this scam would fizzle out quick. Poker bros took it to a whole new level with these 100k plus tournaments, did you know there are literally sweat shops 100s of players playing multiple clubs same unions? They dont care about collusion but they do care if they have to pay you out a big sum, because the money is not there.

Ask yourself why does the prize pool not equal what was put in after rebuys addons and buyins. They have a fee that should be enough right? Nope you have a 325k prize pool and you only paying out 200k that's a huge fee to play. Also how do you pay out 74k 1st prize when most cash apps have limits and would trigger a investigation transfering that much. You're expected to be paid in increments weekly and keep money In the club and hope they dont run with it.

My final straw was I posted a hand that seemed too unreal that I lost I was then contacted by a former agent who said 4 of the people at that table were the same player. He then showed me proof that even though different club, was indeed the same person. I felt so damn cheated, I was loyal deposited often and they allowed this? I dont trust ANY club now, I charged back what I could and left.

And before you all claim me being shady for the charge back in 20 years of playing online I have never done this and only do if I know I was cheated i lost over 1500 in 1 hand with the most ridiculous pre-flop raising with absolutely nothing by numerous players.

This is my view on the club based software, some will say they win big cash. But they are probably just promoting their club or part of the 1%.

Would someone like to explain the HUD/emulator situation to me.

So I have 4 tables running on my 1 pokerbro account. But the HUD only shows on 1 table. In order for me to get it on all tables, do I need to have 4 different windows open at the same time? AKA 1 account per 1 table?

the games have gotten softer since the covid outbreak. seems like pokerbros is the place to be right now. there is alot of punting going on. they are not always hitting runner runner either lol. i think the games are beatable even by a player such as myself with a moderate skill level. nothing better to do right now either

Welcome to online poker in the US man. Been ****ed over by Lock, ignition, not to mention black Friday. The risk will be worth it for good players. Just don't be an idiot and leave more $$ than you need on there, I remember just horror stories of that on FTP.

Where does my agent get the money to pay off a big score in a tournament? Does he sell my chips back to the union?

This is so true.
I remember while i was playing on pokermaster with hud.
Than when hand finished, if player show you one card "mucked cards" on PT4 show me his hole cards. I was worried about that and than decide to quit these crazy aplications. Risk is just too high!

I have tried emailing this app numerous times and I can't get a straight answer on setting up the money end for hosting tournaments for our home Poker group. The app only uses purple diamonds to purchase to then trade for chips in the system and the actual money has to be handled by the Club. I understand why they have to do this to not conflict with gambling laws, but it seems very convoluted and the diamonds for chips exchange isn't in even amounts which make it all the more difficult to set up. Wondering if any of you that have a group already set up can explain how you handle the money part. We only do small stakes $10 games for practice "guys night" type things, NOT a gambling situation.
