in the client the HH is with names, so if a big pot happens we have to copy&paste it manually into a file :|

Why is the client telling me I've reached my pokerfest ticket limit from the store and to check back tomorrow? I've never bought a pokerfest ticket before...

From what I see they snap sit at tables as the table starts to fill. Then they leave if its not a rec. A lot of time they actually hover the table but never buy in then they leave-- which is strange. I don't think they can see any players names but I could be wrong. But from what I've seen its just a bunch of muppets testing tables. At the same time I've played for example 3 handed with a fish and no one else has come to the table for a long time. So I don't know what criteria these scripts work on. Maybe makan has more factual details on how they actually work.

Some interesting players have been showing up at NL 100 fastforward recently. Similar stats, strange betting patterns (like min3b pre, minraise post), snap actions etc.

Is it just me or has the rise of the machines already begun in light of the coming hh ban and tempting bonuses?

Now they're not "useless" anymore?

FWIW I'm fairly certain at least some of the players that hover the table but don't sit until a buy-in are most likely bots. Most of those players are shortstacking and either from the UK (obv) or the czech.

I guess the only way to battle seating scripts is the FTP style where you can't table select individual tables.

Nope in a way that on FTP you can't see single tables. That would be disaster given Party/bwin shady history with segregation etc.
They just can't let you seat at not full table by clicking. So the only way to join table would be to chose stakes and how many players should be sat (or just by seat me option). Add penalties like on FTP for seating and not playing and it works like a charm.
If you are not able to see tables they will just introduce segregation again. Party has been always scummy so letting them to introduce something like that is like saying "please, please PArty/bwin scum me for more money"

Or just ban some active scripters. Its very easy to determine them. Nevertheless, i don't understand sense of this topic now. Party don't listen to us and trying make anything to change all winning players into rakebot-machines.

I think if they limit observable tables to max 4 this stops scripts for the most part.

And Haumpt, I still personally believe they are useless. Annoying but useless, but that is not to say I am correct. It's just my opinion. From what I have been seeing they join, play an orbit and leave and half the time a fish joins after they leave and because they already exhausted that table they don't rejoin. At 10/20 and 25/50 I could see them being quite effective though. But I am not interested in getting in another debate on whether they are effective or useless.

This seems like a pretty good idea.

Colette, is this a possibility to combat seat scripting? The lobby changes you guys made only stopped them for about 24 hours until they tweaked their scripts. They're now back up and running, seating script business as usual.

I think you don't realize, all these sites no longer want winning players aboard. They are all going in the same direction and squeezing.

Colette

A few ideas regarding Party Fest.

1. A big poker festival is about huge gtds. So, you should remove those Fest events with small Gtds and focus and buiding a smaller schedule with juicy prizes. There's nothing special about an event w 3k or 5k Gtd.

2. The events are in the same color, same font than the satellites. They should be stressed much more and be differentiated from the rest of MTTs with a strong color so that its easy to find the big events.

Fair enough. Optimism is always a good thing.

Glass is half full always. I just think personally if they raised their RB by a few % points they could take serious amount of players away from Pokerstars.

I would put tons of volume on Party if they had a slightly better RB system and I believe their are quite a few grinders in that same boat as me. Also if people were once loyal to Pokerstars, that ship has also completely sailed. They have completely rocked the boat on this one.
