Massive lolz @ anyone suggesting Party are ahead of 888.

Party has been one endless string of disappointments. I played a lot there when I first started playing but after withdrawing £300 and losing £20 of it in charges I vowed never to deposit there again.

-Poor deposit bonus

-currency conversion fees/charges when I deposit in GBP and they are Gibraltor based (they convert everything to $$$ and then back again)

-The so called "missions and achievements" have never worked for me depite numerous assurances that they do or that they will look into it for me.

-software bugs and crashes

-180 second timebanks in hyper turbo tournys leading to massive stalling (3 minute levels sometimes means 1 hand in 3 levels) I mean seriously WTF!?!

-Customer service basically non-existant. 3-5 days response time to emails. What do you have, 1 part time staff member?

-I have £20 left in my account and find out this morning that you are no longer operating in my jurisdiction (Isle of Man) without any notice or announcement. Not even an email to me to tell me.

Utter joke of a company. Spoke to an ex employee the other day who says you have lots of troubles.

As I can't play on stars/tilt I have played on 888/ipoker/party a lot and have to say you are by far the worst.

I have 80k wpt points. I played less lately so my status was reduced and now I can't even buy the $1k or $5k bonus. Are you saying that if I don't cash in those points by June 3 then I lose them? Feels like I'm getting scammed here, I have over $10k worth of points and no way to cash them out in time.

I agree mostly about the points I deleted from your post but wanted to comment on these.

Currency conversion: You can have your Party account in GBP which means you won't get hit by any exchange fees.

VIP support and Colette here on 2+2 are good. I don't know about non-VIP support and how fast/slow they are on average.

What's the story behind Isle of Man? Sounds weird like not accepting new Finnish players...

Well I deleted the communicator file when this problem started and had no more crashes after that. But now, because the bug has been "officially fixed" in the last big update, I kept the file after the latest HM2 update.

No surprise though.

I got the file in my HM2 folder as well and haven't had any crashes. Though I use the program that I can't name here anymore.

you do realise how ridiculously unfair this is on high volume grinders that have amassed a large number of wpt points, right? i mean, it's basically daylight robbery.

i assume there will there be some sort of points to cash conversion, points from wpt to party conversion or some form of compensation going on for those affected?

I had an issue arising from the MTT downtime earlier today that was resolved very promptly by Party_Rep.

Surely it's fair to waiver the 3% withdrawal fee for skrill and neteller for wpt accounts? I'll be depositing onto party poker so I'm basically paying 3% just to move money on your network.

I'm sure most will be moving money across to party like I plan to.
