If you google it, there are some threads that link it to EA games etc but most threads were about Party, yes. I don't have the skills to find any more info about it than using google or asking Party.

Maybe ArcaCvet or another programmer could tell us more ?

A lot of us got the "you folded your hand, the connection issue is not at Party's end" kind reply's from party support over the years. So there might be some sarcasm.

ie. this past 12 days x-mas mission.

If I had known that by actually completing 'more' missions I will actually have to clear the bonus at a higher rate than if I'd completed fewer missions.

I mostly play micro 4nl FF on PartyPoker and even 4 tabling (actually it lets me 5-table on there ~1/2 the time if I click my mouse very quickly after the 3rd table comes up (but still shows I'm sitting on 4tables in the lobby when it's actually 5) I can only pick up ~6pts./hr.
I have the $100 bonus and it works out to me needing to get 50pts. to clear $5 of the bonus (or 100pts. for $10)... whereas the first two bonus amounts > $25 (for 1 to 3 missions) & $50 (for 4 to 6 missions) you only need to 30pts. to clear $5 of the bonus.
How is that any benefit for completing more missions? Sure you get a bigger bonus but in my case I will never clear anywhere even close to the full amount. So instead because I completed more missions I will have to now play TWICE as much to clear the same amount of $'s in bonus. (well... 'close' to twice as much). How does this make any sense? (it's like getting penalized for playing more... huh?).

If possible, I would like to exchange my $100 bonus for a $25 one. If I had understood the original mission more clearly, there's no way in hell I would have completed more missions (making the bonus more unobtainable for me & causing me to have to play twice as much to clear the same amount... it makes no sense to me).

I haven't activated the $100 bonus yet (still working on the 2x $5 bonuses from the 10,000 hands of 4nl FF... yes it actually let me activate one of them now instead of just taking me to 'cashier' page each time)

Didn't have a MFC crash in a while.

But I shouldn't have mentioned the disconnected thing in my last post. Got them a few times today already.

Is anyone having connection problems today?

The lobby still works fine, but the tables are all disconnected. This isn't a problem I normally have.

On a happy note, fingers crossed, touch wood etc, I haven't had a crash for a few days.

edit: looks like centebakkie, is having the same experience as me.

Seems like Party changed something ON THEIR END as the crashes have been fixed for many without us doing anything.

I wonder if we will ever find out what the problem was...

I had one just now so it's prolly not fixed.

I really like those tournament announcements. They make the software lagging and unplayable. I like lagging!

I gave up on Party due to the crashes, then tried again yesterday. Two crashes in 15 mins so def no fix.

can u guys check if it was pprekop or partygaming that crashed?

Colette - why are there 6 x 750 Gtd Turbo PL Holdem tournaments all in a 2 hour period on a Sunday? What's the goal here? Someone can't think of something a little more diverse? The Sunday schedule on Party is probably the industry worst at the moment. The midweek schedule, although fairly bad too, is a lot better than Sundays.

hello. the Party software downloads the default files of it at almost every launch (many times / day), so i have to reinstall my table and card mods before every session. its happening since they made the snowy xmas mod.
the bigger problem is : watchlist.txt with the player marks is loosing its content at every times

is there a way to avoid it? why is this happening?

Party used to be the best in the world. I'm looking at today's schedule and shaking my head. 888 has better tourneys than this.

Colette how come the price in the Party Store has gone up several times in the past few weeks?

For ex. an item that cost 2k pts for a Gold player few weeks ago NOW costs 2k pts for a Silver player... are you trying to fully deter any spending whatsoever at the store?

Everything is super RIDICUOLOUSLY overpriced, please adjust it otherwise nobody will shop there (or shouldnt atleast)

Just curious. Does it matter to a site if people don't buy much in its store? Isn't it money in their bank if people don't, as the points or whatever they give as a "bonus" haven't been used?

I keep getting intermittent disconnections at both party & PS today. Anybody else? PS is able to recover, but party still says 'Connection lost.' :-(

That's one school of thought. Another is if people feel that there is nothing to spend their points on then they have no need to acquire them. And that is certainly bad for any site.

With regards to the Sunday schedule, this is something the PRM team are actively working on - one of the first tasks of the year is to compare our old V new schedule and incorporate some new ideas to propose something that is more diverse and suitable for all.

As always, we do appreciate your feedback and suggestions and please be assured I will ensure it reaches the Poker room team for review.

Once I have an update and an initial schedule in mind, I will share with the community for feedback

When i play on several tables (mostly 9 to 12), the software lags alot. This happens when i play on a bigger monitor, and not when i'm on my laptop. I use a macbook with i7 processor and 16GB RAM. So i don't know why the software is so slow.
