My PartyPoker client is freezing the whole time... does anyone have the same problem?

I haven't used my Party Poker account in ages. Today I tried logging in, however it would not let me.

Since they merged with Bwin a few years ago, should I make a new account or my old one should still be in function?

You should definitely be emailing PartyPoker about this. I wouldn't be expecting an answer here as they ignore most of the questions ITT.

They would have taken all your money/points by now if you had any in there.

Yup, just don't opt out of your bonus and then you can queue a few bonuses if you wish.

You just reminded me to go scratch a card... since the gifts are so cheap (compared to a couple of years ago), I forget every other day... But just got a 50% up to 50$ cash bonus... WTF Does this mean a deposit and if so, what is the bonus code? Anyone have a clue?

edit : nevermind, found the info. Yeah, it is a deposit bonus and the 50$ must be cleared within 3 days... Yikes, talk about forcing the grind!!!

Especially considering amaya seems to be ruining stars. Might be worse for party than bwin.

It is not a question of doing worse, it is more for the sake of preventing a monopoly. Right now, 888 and Party are doing a horrible job of trying to steal business away from Stars after Amaya's recent unpopular decision s(this week's 2 + 2 podcast has some great insights into the whole scenario), but they could do some over the wall promos for say 1 month and help secure some new customers .

If Amaya buys Party, the nailed will be pounced in the coffin : who will put pressure on Stars? (not that anybody is at the moment, but Amaya would also secure the American market without a fight). Competition is the only thing to keep Stars somewhat honest, at this point.

What is the best way to deal with the loyalty system when starting from zero points? Should I wait until I have palladium and 100k points and then purchase 15k$ bonus. How many days do I have to collect my 100k points?

From the site "Two WPT Points for each $1 you pay in cash game rake.". So 100k points are 50k$ in rake.

" Clearing requirements are only 25% of the bonus cost in points (half the previous requirement!)". So is it 25k points and 12,5k$ rake in 180days to clear the bonus ? Does 'half the previous requirement mean' half of the 5k$ bonus requirement which is 40k points. So the half is 20k points. Wtf im confused.

To get the 100k points, you can spend as long as you want to. After you use the points to buy the bonus, it's only then when the timer starts running. You have to clear whatever points in whatever days (check from the bonus info the exacts). I'm not on WPT so their requirements might be different than Party's where I play. Sounds like 25000 points within 180 days though. You'll keep the 25k points after you have cleared them.

Whether going for the biggest bonus is best or not depends on how much you can rake per month

You can wait till you have enough points for the big bonus. But remember party can always cut or lower the worth of the points like they did a year ago. So you could be getting much less, when u get there.

Anyone here melepeta13? They keep starting tables by playing their button then sitting out so they don't have to post BB; then they sit back in and get the button again. This is the sort of ******ed bug you need to fix party, not the missions and dumb **** like that.
