In many countries poker is illegal/gray area so it might be tricky when it goes to taxes.
On top of that many banks have ridiculous spread when you exchange the money ( way higher than skrill/neteller).
Simmilar for people like me who travel around the world. Exchnge rates if you are vip on netter/skrill are way smaller when you compare it to banks.

Ewallets are very convinient way to move money around, way better than using bank accounts or that (and much cheaper when you travel around the world cause banks charge enormous money when you do international transfers/ ATM withdrawals)

Personally I easily save 400-500$/month by using skrill instead of my bank account.

He is German, though. I don't know about their tax rules for poker but he shouldn't lose any money on currency exchange as he can have his Party account in euros and his home bank account is in euros as well.

Idea of hiding transactions from taxman is pretty optimistic given the fact that you have to prove the source of money in your account if seriously asked. There's not much difference between recieving it from bwin or skrill in this case...

The only understanable reason to use e-wallet in this context is to hide the source from bank employees, but it's not necessary either. If you have allocated private banker, you should've told him already (it's certainly +EV longterm) and if not, than no one gives a **** about your account if you've been using it in the similar way (regular <€10k withdrawals (within EU) to not raise a flag).

'fees' as a reason may be reasonable in certain countries, but i.e. in UK it's bull**** because you can get few credit cards with exactly zero FX fees (using always VISA/MC mid).

While saying that, I'm also using Neteller but just to move money to other players and as a quite convenient method of transferring money between some 'properly working' pokerrooms or the ones that don't allow me to keep main account in GBP.

This SUPER ANNOYING popup has been in the software for years, it hi-jacks attention from other software, so if you are using any other software , it will force you out from that game and potentially cost you. It has cost me a lot.

when I log in via the website and check "all transaction" I can usually see every buyin/rebuy/addon I've made over a selected month.
This month only transactions after the 21st of June are listed. Anyone else with the same problem???

I just checked previous month, too
every month seems to have an incomplete list of " all transaction", whereas last week this wasn't the case at all...

You hate it, i like it - if you come from a different pokerroom it might take some time to get use to it. But I personally feel that this "faster than turbo, slower than hyperturbo" structure is good. You get two levels of relatively deepstack play, two levels of minraises/resteals, than pushfold buble. If you like deepstack play than SnG world isnt really for you these days.
