But the xe rate right now, which is pretty much better than you could ever get is 1.10 right now so 220 usd x1.10 is 242, so it does not seem that bad to me. I think party gave you the same rate a typical bank would.
Anyways, why not set your party currency to canadian, then party will never do an exchange period.

Actually, had problems with the mission while trying to achieve : it would not reward me for certain hands played, even I had won 5 times with A3o!!! I obviously emailed support... and after 5 days of waiting, got a message saying that I needed to opt in (I am not that dumb!!!) and bla bla bla, making me quit the mission. Answer that, Party Rep!

Did Party just cancel all the early morning higher buy in tournaments! Like both 54$, both 33$, all 3 11$ rebuys as well as the 33$ rebuy!!! Really, anything else you are not telling us Party Rep, or was this your last effort to get rid of all the regs?

Seems like it. The qualifiers are gone as well and guarantees are pretty low for the left over tournaments

Yup. The final cut. There was 16-20 tournaments I use to play on Party... now there would be 3... in an 8 hour schedule! They just cut any life out any MTT reg not living in eastern time. Way to go Party! We are so proud of your excessive efforts to piss off the regs!

They removed the only plo mtt I cared to play daily.

They also made the payouts MUCH MUCH less top heavy.

This is really sad, even for us living in eastern europe, nothing left to play.

Some good changes, but unfortunately some unnecesary bad ones as well

schedule seems to be way more focussed on turbo/hypers now :s

Edit: adjusted payouts seems to be a good change, still not possible to make a deal in rebuys though (not so necesarry anymore though)

OK. What is the benefit of 9 handed tables over 10 handed tables in tournaments?

Benefit for the site I guess is that there is more rake to be paid/received in cash games as there will be more hands per hour per table but I don't see much benefit for tournaments other than players who use a hud will be slightly disadvantaged for a while.

Why would players prefer 9 handed? because other sites do it?

Live, I guess that bored players get a few more hands in per hour and don't bump elbows every minute but why when you can multi table is it good online?

EDIT : Partypoker will benefit from tournaments and satellites being over quicker when combined with reduced time per blind level and might be able to add more games per day to be raked but what is in it for players?

- 9 handed is slightly better, yes.
- the payouts are looking better as well.
- 10 minutes blind levels is ridiculous, especially considering that we need to reboot frequently the software... (but it is more rake for them).
- Cancelling the higher buyins and guarantees, is simply unforgiveable.
