51 security fixes and was dated October 15, 2013 -- but my guess is that they did not change their code at all, they just did the laziest thing possible, and say "oops, based on that recent Java update, it's pretty likely that we have major security holes, so let's just FORCE the web users to not be able to log in unless they upgrade their Java version to that most recent version --
even though most of them are USING this version because they can't upgrade/install ANYTHING on the machine they're logging in from!".
Yeah, option 3 seems the most likely thing -- and I expect nothing less from Party. Take the laziest AND most customer-unfriendly path when it comes to changing features and choices for the user... why change now?
