Is there any chance this could have been implemented because of the recent Skrill cashback offer to VIPs? It seemed to me to be very abusable.

I believe the changes started first with Russians and it was before the promo. Additionally it is with all ewallets (neteller, mb, webmoney etc.) so not only mb.

anyway if it was about the promo abusing they could increase the rollover instead of charging the fee (and given the data from mb site and other sites like the calvinayre.com article they pay themselves significantly less than they charge us). Don't forgot that we still pay them rake so you firstly need to rake significant amount before you can withdraw.

So basically no,there is no way it is about the skrill promo.

It isn't that simple, people do care. I for example deposited about 1k on party in late November (had a reload offer) and planned to grind there starting January but than they striped down their VIP rewards so I simply never bothered to play there, I had a choice. With their recent change they have effectively claimed 3% of my (and everyone else) balance overnight which is an outright robbery.

I withdrew all my cash using "Fast Bank Transfer," but instead of a $10 fee, I lost > $32. So don't use this method for small amounts.

I am still getting the following error message after contacting customer care.
"ERROR: Account Currency updates failed due to technical problems in the system, please contact the customer care."

1) Pick the cheapest method to withdraw all your cash. In my case, it was the "Fast Bank Transfer" with U$10 fee to transfer everything to my U$ account. After leaving 5 or 4 figures in my cash balance for years, it feels strangely good to have a balance of "$0.00" with Party for the first time ever.

2) Try to change your account currency from U$ to your local currency. Despite numerous contacts with Support, their system is still unable to do this.

3) Play elsewhere but if it ever makes sense to pay rake to Party at some distant future, then deposit (and withdraw) in your local currency. In my case, it will be electronic transfer, which is free for C$ for now but we will not get proper notification from Party when it increases the fees again.

It no longer makes sense to deposit U$ to Party with the higher currency charge than PokerStars & other sites, then even if you manage to overcome player segregation, etc. to make a withdrawal, you will be hit again with the conversion or other fees.

Assuming this won't get a reply, but calling Party_Rep!

Your system is flagging me as American despite your own support tracing my Canadian connection with a Canada-only ISP and checking my Canadian details. So, I am unable to sit at tables. I was told it was forwarded to the 'tech team'. 15 hours later I received an email asking for screenshots of the error message. I replied an hour later with the screenshots and the VIP Host I just finished speaking to said they had just received them a few minutes ago and they would be forwarded to the team. That was ~18 hours after my initial contact with your support. Any way you can speed this up?

Party Rep is a hoax : he is the guy that tells you that everything is fine while the ship is sinking, meanwhile he offers no solutions, disregards all problems and is the first one to jump on a rescue boat!

I've ignored Party for a long time b/c of its cheating players. I'm at bronze level now with 6500 points. What's the best way I can maximize the value? I read somewhere about using them in the casino but can someone please advise? thanks

Are the anonymous tables gone? I was researching them but I cannot find them in the lobby anymore.

Hi all,

A screenshot from an early beta version of our new software was posted here today. I'll provide more news about the latest version of our new software as soon as this becomes available.

Thanks

Reminds me of a Windows 8 redesign, but it's probably still all the same bugs underneath with the same crashing servers.

It seems they have decided their massive rake isn't getting them enough profit, so now they have effectively stolen 3% of every players bankroll on the site.
If you haven't cashed out from party already over the player pools splitting, it certainly is time to now. We must do everything in our power to ensure this move buries them. I know poker players are all about self interest and Party may seem more appealing to some now that it will have less pros, but please think about the big picture here. If you encourage and reward Party's greed, other sites might decide to follow suit. Do not pay them another dime in rake! Support the long-term viability of online poker by leaving Party today, and send them an email telling them why you're doing so.

It's probably more likely a response against the churning of Skrill / Neteller cashback.

Yeah, how dare them to pass on some processing fees to their customers, doesn't happen in any other business. Obviously players will be upset over this but it's not "huge news" either.
