Simply said, it's def the worst promo in the last 12 months. There's no luck factor involved (like scratching cards) what would thrill fish and it's not interesting for regulars either. Who is it made for? I'm not able to recognize the idea behind all of this... It seems like something completely random.

they ran the same promo in dec 2010, a $5k freeroll every day, was called the 'five star poker challenge'. i prayed it would never return lol

i think it's intended to increase the popularity of MTTs, which are pretty profitable for a poker site

last time there was a palladium VIP subpromo called 'VIP gift accumulator' on the side that rewarded $700 for raking $6k in 14 days, iirc

a ******ed friend of mine was mentioning it would be quite impossibru to keep all the prizes for the reason that at semi-pro to professional slab, you only have to get 3k more pts to have a bonus of 2k pts ?

Hi, I am a reg in the 6max sng's
I came across some suspect play in a $55 game.
2 Russians and a Lithuanian were disconnected at the same time. Didn't think much of it (party bug or something)
The same 3 players played the next SNG's
While the 2 Russians had filter 5-6players HUD of 4/3 and 4/2 over 98 hands (vpip/pfr) which was weird the Lithinluian had more standard HUD of 12/11.
I looked over there Sharkscopes at the end of STT and found some alarming stats

Party1member was the Lithuanian
Hufuqafaf and Vabecun were the Russians in my game
The other players are players a researched from previous games have only ever played in STT with Partymember..
It looks like he has only been doing this in the $55 games.
I have spoken to Party support and I am about to send them email with names and games they have played, hoping they sort these out.

played just over 2 hrs 8-12 tables
lag is horrible, with a lot of that bug where the last player who won the pot has chips that he won in from of him next hand. At some actions it took me like 5-6 seconds for software to accept my action. Its so bad today.

So annoying, can't understand that they can be so uninterested to solve that sh*t software already. Its like that they just wanna tilt the sh*t out of people.

Also its been like 6 months since they fcked up the that lobby wait list buttons, and still no fix.

Just got disconnected then thrown off all my tables

The strange thing is that if party 'downgraded' to the software and servers they were using about several years ago, it would be a massive improvement in almost every regard. Obviously there is somebody in a suit somewhere that thinks what Party is doing is just brilliant. And it's not just limited to Party. There seem to be these sort of individuals in suits at nearly every company where they just ends up being this massive disconnect between what they're doing and anything resembling intelligent action. How do these people get into the positions they're in? Or does business, as a field, just generally tend to attract less intelligent individuals on the whole so there's a selection bias? It seems so many companies are rife with these people who seem to have no intelligence, no common sense, and based on Party's financials - no business sense either.

Although the ironic thing is somebody somewhere is doing an absolutely terrible job at what he's supposed to be doing, yet he's likely getting paid a whole heck of a lot more than most anybody is earning at poker anymore. So I suppose he could retort - who's the smart one now, eh?

Yes i completely agree. IMO the future of poker is not looking good. The changes in rake, lack of promotions and generally much tougher competition at all stakes have made it very difficult indeed. I have had a look at the Zoom games at stars in the last few days and i very much doubt many are going to be getting rich there either as the games seemed to be a giant nitfest. I am looking to leave the poker world soon and do something else.
