[PartyPoker] Ex-Official thread - Page 198 - Online Poker Sites -- Two Plus Two Poker Forums

Just thought I'd post an annoyance I've encountered with Party.

I bought into WPT Prague using my account balance. The tournament was December 5th.

They withdrew $5000 USD from my account. The tournament buyin was 3,500 Euros.

They told me I'd be credited the difference in the exchange rates (I'm owed something like $400-$600) but haven't yet. I've emailed twice and they've said the tournament hasn't been reconciled.

Really didn't think it would take 2 months but I guess we'll see!

sounds like a smart plan!?

you know if you are relocated from the US you can play on party, you dont need to use someone elses account, just open your own one. someone i know just lost his account and 18k with it getting caught playing under someone else

I wish they would just follow a policy of having a text-editable INI file or registry setting for every new feature they add... The average 1-tabling recreational user might like new features, but 12+ tabling regs sure don't if it makes the client chug like hell.

The inactivity pop-up is insanely stupid and unprofitable for PartyPoker. I often just leave the client logged in and take a break to watch a movie or read 2p2, and because of that pop-up I end up logging off completely.

For how hard Party tries to get fish onto the software (shortcuts on the desktop, adding icon to the quick launch bar, listing Party under "Start -> Games" in Windows), it's insane they would add this inactivity pop-up and discourage people from staying logged into the client.

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm using the Mac Beta client and simply *cannot* find the MTTS. Or even SnGs. Is this coming in a later version?

Correct. for now it's cash games only, it's coming. For now you can use the instant play version on a Mac which gets you all the game types.

just out of curiosity...
since probably everyone got disconnected including my opponent in the pot, what's the "policy" of poker sites for disconnecting in cash games here?
And does it make any difference if you're at a DP or a non DP table?
Wouldn't be surprised if the money just vanished for everyone in the pot
