I would still bet on the DDoS issue too.

If you look at some of the complaints, so guys have been getting back to tables before disconnecting again. So the servers were not 100% down, but most likely facing a massive load.

And as for the "servers back on after the points reset" -> I can't still log in at party, which could indicate DDoS attack is still ongoing.

Mmm looks like part is getting through and part not. Managed to log in, 5,5$ PLO $500 event did run 40+ min with 3 players and happy winner got 500$ (didn't try to register when it run so don't know if it would haveallowed).

Looks like they're rescheduling events, there were just bunch in the lobby starting tonight 10 minutes ago and now there seems to be less or more full European night schedule.

I think you guys are over reacting party is doing a big effort to offer an alternative to stars! Go play for chests ffs! Give the guys a break and let them work! Or you think you will get this good GTD in any other site? Don't think there are many out there!

I think the groups behind DDoS attacks do so on these big days because they are most likely to be paid off and future threats will be more likely paid off because of the customer outrage and the cost to the sites they are attacking.

All refund should be processed within 24 hours however I would advise to allow up to 48 hours

I guess I was wrong to assume Party Poker will welcome higher volume players or winning players like a few other poker rooms.

The idea of this post is not to make a rant against Party Poker, but after constatnly being refused cooperation and any access to my funds, I decided to look for help/suggestions here. Bare in mind my funds have been locked for months and it's more than 10 000$!!! I will just warn everybody to take this post into consideration before depositing on Party Poker's platform. Decide for youself whether the risk is worth it.

I remember I ve read a thread in other forum where ppl where talking about similar problem to yours. Trying to find the thread, but no success so far.

How can that be happening in such a big poker site? The poker branch is going down with every year, but where are we heading to? How can big poker rooms **** with the clients in such a way?

I put some of my volume in Party Poker, but it seems I should consider that decision again.

The important point right now is making sure they use the correct time to calculate chip stacks. Every1 disconnected just before a break. I think it was the break at 20.55 CET. I hope to GOD that partypoker uses this break to calculate chips stacks because I know a friend of mine who managed to reconnect after that and steal 20bb before he got disconnected again= very unfair.

I guess it's too late now because they already started the refunds but whatever.

I would like to offer my sincere apologies for the partypoker downtime last night. This was caused by a malfunction in one of our servers that resulted in the system crashing at around 8pm GMT. We have identified the issue, the problem has been rectified, refunds are being processed and tighter procedures have been implemented to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

It was a disaster for us as well as the players, the night of our biggest ever PKO tournaments and on the eve of the launch of our new Power Series. I understand that some players may not immediately return to partypoker given their experiences in the last 24 hours and I expect to see some sizeable overlays in the new Power Series MTTs that run from today. We will run the new Power Series as advertised and will not be reducing guarantees.

We will be adding additional MTTs and increased guarantees to next Sunday’s Power Series schedule to ensure players do not miss out on the headline KO Series MTTs that were running yesterday when the system crashed. In total, we will be adding almost $2,000,000 to next Sunday’s guaranteed prizepools:

We will add a $1,000,000 Guaranteed, $5,200 buy-in PKO at 7pm GMT
We will boost the advertised the Power Series 7pm GMT $215 buy-in $200,000 guaranteed Super Sunday Bounty Hunter to a $1,000,000 prizepool. This will run alongside the 5pm GMT $215 buy-in $500,000 guaranteed Super Sunday Main Event
We will double the Power Series 7pm GMT Super Sunday Bounty Hunter $55 buy-in $100,000 guaranteed to $200,000 guaranteed
We will increase the guaranteed prizepool in the $11 buy-in 7pm GMT Bounty Hunter from $20,000 to $50,000
We will increase the 7pm GMT $2.20 buy-in Bounty Hunter prizepool from $5,000 to $20,000
The 3 cancelled ladies KO events from yesterday will run next Sunday at 7pm GMT and will replace the new ladies Power Series MTTs for this week only.

Our teams are working hard now to clear all of the cancelled tournaments from last night and will return funds to customers as quickly as they can over the next 24 hours. We can only apologise for ruining what was a huge Sunday for you and us, but please bear with us as we do our best to rectify this situation as quickly and efficiently as possible.
