I also had problems with the promo. Party got me to play a few extra spin and gos, and of course I lost, those bastards. With all the recent problems with EVERY poker promo this month we should get a reload bonus or something. OR allowed to put in volume whenever we want for Gladiator. Live Support has been useless on top of everything...

I asked my concern here, SMB told me hes not dinosaur so im gonna choose to believe him. It might be another friend of them tho since I really felt he played like trash.

I had a really strong feeling that dinosaur was trash, maybe others feel the same way.

I think they already "paid" for what they did in the past, but I still wouldnt feel comfortable playing against both of them or them with another of their roommate/friend at the same table (plus they are both very good!)

@Colette - what is the timeframe and structure of the bot-related refunds? I played against quite a few suspected bots this year and haven't heard anything yet.

Idea for HUDs. Party should encrypt hand histories and only provide the key to HM and PT. HM and PT now will only import those encrypted HH's. Bots would have to create there own DB's and it would make things much harder for cheaters. Not perfect but better for sure.

No, they'd still be able to extract data from PT4/HM2 DBs, which is easy - the structure of PT4 DBs is well-known.

No doubt they can still extract it, but no longer can they input screen scraped hands into those databases. Only encrypted hands will be acccepted.

They can match cards, stack and pot sizes in scraped hands against those that will appear in tracker DBs after the hands are imported there.

That said, it's probably easier from the viewpoint of the longterm development cycle to create bots' own DBs, and it's not rocket science, I reckon it can be done within just a few weeks.

It happens if you dont close the software before restarting or shutting down pc.

The colour codes are saved in watchlist.txt but it saves them after you close the software, not in real time.

A proper dynamic encryption would not be broken. So the only way to bypass this would be screen scrape your own hand histories and have your own custom made database, and likely have both those softwares running on a seperate PC. Yes bots will do this but at least it makes it harder for them and also makes it very hard for anyone to bypass anonymous handhistoies and vave a HUD with full statistics. There is no perfect solution but I think this would help greatly. The difficult part is getting Party and HM/PT to work on that and do it properly so the encryption is air tight and nothing but encrypted HH can be uploaded for Party. I suppose there are some workarounds to trick the DB but at least it's a start.
