Players are rewarded for the extra grind via cash payouts at the end of the promotion

Colette this is massively disappointing, and not the way the Gladiator has been done previously. It's not a promo at all, it's the same rb%!

If this is true then I'm out for good.

What about Bwin? Same changes with anonym HHs?

Pretty incredible that a site that seemed to be heading in the right direction has suddenly managed to get so much wrong in a matter of days.

Lol thats so bad. Thought for a second to make a serious grind and enjoy a little extra rb. Gues not then.

Would encourage anyone else who feels aggrieved by the Gladiator promotion not being what it should be to make their feelings known itt. Party might just fix it.

If someone makes 400 pts for 30 days, that's $6k in rake. They'll get $1500 for their efforts, so 25% in rb. Standard rb on party is 27.5%!!

Hi Gazzy, I thought the top rakeback was 23.5%? $500 bonus for $2.1k in rake. Where does the extra 4% come from?

This promotion is disappointing, I was planning on doing 30 days x 900 points for $3.5k bonus, at 23.5% for Palladium $500 a cash bonus I'd only get $325 more with Gladiator, and if what you say is true about 27.5% then I'm losing money?

I feel you Gazzy, this promotion is worthless. But Party must know this and be aware that the grinders will complain, maybe they just don't care?

I mean their only possible outcome they could wish from this is to reduce the number of hardcore grinders and increase casuals and daft grinders (who will look at promotion and think: Neat!)..

Can anybody get things straight for me - for example, I get 110-150 points during the 30 days span, qualify for the 370$ reward, earn 4200 points - you would deduct only 3300 points or 4200?

Correct - 3300 points would be removed - the points applicable for the prize

This promotion is not worthless if points are reduced. It is actually negative EV for most people.

I was thinking about grinding 110p for 25 days. I would get 2750 points which I could change to 235$ in cash by terms in this promotion. Alternative would be use them for 500$ cash or 530$ ticket for which I would get much better value. Also could get 50 points more for a total of 2800ö and get 200$ in cash and 109$ ticket.

Please check with promotional team Colette. This can't really be true. I think they just did a mistake by stating that points would be deducted, since prizes are roughly the same as earlier.

By the way, those freerolls are still far more appealing to me than some $5-$20 prizes. Too bad I have to play too much in Party so can't get them.

Terms and conditions also look like they're contradicting promotion page. Someone already mentioned about "only cash and fastforward games are counted"-part and in addition there's no mention about points being deducted.

Another quick fix proposition: give everyone that reaches to better prizes those freeroll tickets they're entitled for. Many won't use them probably so this wouldn't destroy whole value for small stakes players, but it is most counter-productive to encourage _not to_ play more than what they need to get $2,5k or $3,5k freeroll ticket which has far more value than those smaller cash prizes. Thanks!

lol oh my - Colette can you please just confirm again for people who skim through the thread and don't read every post. For players who "opt in" to this months promotion, they will be losing money by doing so?

Thanks very much Colette. As ever you do a great job on behalf of players, and at times its easy to forget you are just "the messenger". Really hope Party fix this and allow the points store bonuses on top of the Gladiator bonus!

Opt in for this promo and you lose potentially lots of equity. Without promo if you rake 20 days at 400 points thats 8000 points. 4250 points = $500 bonus, so 8000 points = $941. Opt into promo and grind 400 points for 20 days and you get $700, 241 less than had you not opted in. What if you grind 500 points for 20 days Colette, would party take the 10,000 points generated and pay out for 20 days at 400? If so then you are losing lot more money by opting in. Did they do there math wrong or is this a trick? I feel bad for any sucker that Opts in!

This may go down as the biggest facepalm poker promotion I've ever witnessed.

Regardless, thank you Colette for at least checking with the relevant team to see if the scam was intended.

Colette,

I'm sure the wording is a mistake right?

If a player plays 40x200PP, he'd get $700 from promotion

But if he chooses to not opt-in to promotion, 40x200PP=8000PP is almost worth $1000 in the store (8500PP for 2x$500).

Why would anyone opt in to the promo?

Removing handhistory and then launching promotion that actually STEALS money from you if you grind more.

Party is on fire boys!

Waiting for that sweetie "you cant look at your cards" ECOLOGICAL change and "give us all your rakeback" Winter Grind promo

Colette is always helpful and good person to all of us. But on other end for the past couple or three years I witnessed so much "Is this for real???" moments on Patry. Technical problems are like casual thing already, customer support (except Colette) are blowed my mind dozens of times. Its actually easier to pray Jesus for help than PP customer support. And now, best part of Party that kept this site alive (Promo team) goes like full ******. I really dont want to offend anyone from Party personally but as mechanism you guys are struggling hard.

I'm 99% sure it's just a mistake in the wording. Gladiator has never removed points from players and if it does remove points, it's just a pointless promo.
