What's the best way to get value from points? Is there any tournaments that offer decent value? Or am I looking at saving up a massive amount to get one of the bonuses?

$3k for 20k points is 30% rakeback alone. that's the bonus i have always been buying

Nah, ive got 34k currently. But most of my play right now is on other sites. I was just wondering if there was any better value than the bonuses. I guess I'll just wait till the next gladiator promo and grab a bonus.

unless you can rake 20k in 3 months to make palladium elite the 20k points bonus is the best value you can get

^keep in mind you can save points then just go wild for 1 quarter raking like crazy and cash in everything at elite %

party had one chance of getting a lot of ftp players and the way they handled the world domination promo and treated their players i am not surprised so few of them stayed

sucks cause party does have some good stuff going for it, for a start some of the donkey players are unbelievable at times, feels like im back in 2006 or something.

wouldn't surprise me if most the FTP players that were considering a move mostly are at stars now, software being very simular, they got their VIP mega month deal on now aswell.

party is cool in that sense you can always maximise your rakeback, at stars you have to pay for a rakeback deal.

stars' way keeps customers playing at their site where as on party you can take a break and not lose anything so i assume stars' way makes more money in the long run

What's even worse is that this $5K promotion got suspended after the first break then cancelled, so the 8,619 players that made a deposit or paid rake this week got nothing!

I was in top10% and there are no refund as in normal tours.

WTF is that, seems so stupid not to distribute the 5k as per chipstack left when crash, or by number in tour; they get a lot of very frustrated players, no matter if they double the pool next week.

When playing PartyPoker's big promo tours, REMEMBER THIS:

If at any time the tour feezes and gets cancelled (and that happens somewhat often in the large field tours) thats just the end of it.

You'll spend an hour figuring out if the tour is cancelled or it will get back on, NO INFO, it just dissapears from the lobby as if it never existed; and you have just wasted your time, YET AGAIN !!!

It is beyond my imagination that a big coorporation like PartyPoker can't see that this is stupid; thay are not even gaining anything be it; since they proporly just double the booster tour next week; that is stupid beyong comprehension.

The joy of the players playing a double next week (maybe they just keep the 5k, who knows) is nothing compared to the frustration for those in say TOP 200.

Thay will be hesitent to play tours at Party Poker in the future, because of the experince; and that feeling means a lot, when choosing to play poker. The security and the feeling that you are being fair threated.

It's kind of misleading to say this. You don't get $3K for raking 20K points. You get a 3K "poker bonus" which is only released in small amounts while you pay another **** ton of rake.

Can anyone tell me in what increments it gets released and how much you have to rake to clear it all? Can you have two of these going at the same time?
