Well considering Merge isn't accepting US players any longer, I can't imagine too many new players coming on board aside from the Bovada crowd that have dormant accounts.

Any reason they wouldn't be attracting international players? Or are there simply too many other, better, sites?

I wonder if you might be onto something, however. Merge no longer accepting US players seems to roughly correlate with an increase in non-BTC withdrawal times into the >2 month range.

The question we should all be asking ourselves about the slow payouts is why. Why are they slow to pay? What possible reason would they have for slow payouts, knowing that slow payouts scare away new and prospective players?

Look at what's happening to EPN - they've gone from "slow" payouts to seemingly full-on collapse mode, and people are selling their funds for .35 on the dollar to try and get at least something back.

Just because the situation has been manageable for five years doesn't mean it always will be. Lots of finance people in 2007 ignored all the warning signs, and look where that got them (and us)?

Cool.

My theory is that they gained a lot of equity because of btc rising in value. Making them payout quick than they were when I would imagine they lost a chunk of equity when it plummeted however many weeks ago.

There is a small subset of players who have gotten paid faster than many others in this thread. Those that have been banned. Guess that is more evidence of cash flow issues.

no sry received funds to btc account from merge 9/8

they sent a message 9/7 saying it was processed but the money wasn't there yet (as others have reported) and it still said "pending" in wdraw tab

You guys do realize that Merge probably hires a 3rd party company to do the payouts. Merge isn't trying to hold onto a volatile currency that might lost half its value in one day.
