Any reason they wouldn't be attracting international players? Or are there simply too many other, better, sites?

I wonder if you might be onto something, however. Merge no longer accepting US players seems to roughly correlate with an increase in non-BTC withdrawal times into the >2 month range.

So, please forgive those of us who are tired of hearing the same old song. As I posted earlier, 21 days from request to funds available w/o strings in bank account is a blessing compared to where this network was when I joined it. Three months for a check. Mercy! Stated time frame was 6-8 weeks. Then gradually improved to 4-6 weeks stated time frame. Then, the current owners took over and I actually got a check in 8 days from request to in hand. Sadly, that was an anomaly. But, through it all, some posters have been singing the demise of Merge without fail, secondary to their slow pay outs. Even though 99% of their customers have been paid. I'm sure somewhere there is a 1% pool of folks, who, for one reason or another, hasn't been paid. But, it isn't because of greed, cash flow issues, verge of collapse, or the sky is falling. They have a history of slow-paying. But, they pay. And always have. That's very important. So, unless you have a new song, give it a break. This is Merge. And they gonna Merge. Nothing new. Many of us have adapted. Three week cash outs. Have mercy! Who knows? They might even improve. Not gonna hold my breath. But, sure ain't singin that same old tired refrain you are. Been hearing it for 5 years.

The question we should all be asking ourselves about the slow payouts is why. Why are they slow to pay? What possible reason would they have for slow payouts, knowing that slow payouts scare away new and prospective players?

Look at what's happening to EPN - they've gone from "slow" payouts to seemingly full-on collapse mode, and people are selling their funds for .35 on the dollar to try and get at least something back.

Just because the situation has been manageable for five years doesn't mean it always will be. Lots of finance people in 2007 ignored all the warning signs, and look where that got them (and us)?

Btc req: 9/7~ maybe 9/6
Btc receive: 9/9

Cool.

My theory is that they gained a lot of equity because of btc rising in value. Making them payout quick than they were when I would imagine they lost a chunk of equity when it plummeted however many weeks ago.

Their slow pay history dates for more than 5 years. As does their always paying. Sometimes, they pay out at a rate comparable to other sites for a period of time. Then revert back to slow pay in comparison to other sites. The current one to two week bitcoin cash outs, however, is nothing to sneeze at when looking at Merge's overall rate of cash out times.

There is a small subset of players who have gotten paid faster than many others in this thread. Those that have been banned. Guess that is more evidence of cash flow issues.

Assuming "received funds late morning 9/8" means in bank account.

Have an old carbon account but never deposited.

Questions
1. Can I still get a deposit bonus since I've never deposited?
2. I'm American what is most proven way to deposit besides bitcoin?
3. I logged in and there was about 4 tables of 50 NL and 5 tables of 25 NL is this typical?

Thanks again. Good luck!

You guys do realize that Merge probably hires a 3rd party company to do the payouts. Merge isn't trying to hold onto a volatile currency that might lost half its value in one day.
