i guess the best explanation is that my bitcoin wallet is rejecting the bitcoin from these sites because they are gambling sites (yes, I know, i'll need to use blockchain next time) but...hopefully someone knows this...wouldnt the rejected bitcoin get automatically returned to the sender? for whatever reason this has not happened. any advice on how to proceed from here is much appreciated

+1

ya im in the same boat you guys are, and this is my first bitcoin withdrawal.

Usually how should the withdrawal work? Should it appear in our blockchain account, and be a confirmed transaction? i.e we can start using the bitcoin right away?

It has been pretty sick watching the value of bitcoin fluctuate (with the unconfirmed transaction), esp over the last couple days. Not really sure what the normal process is.

It suggests more in mining fees should be added to the BTC sent to 1st wallet. Apparently, this would increase the chances of transaction being placed in a block of transactions for confirmation.

so i just have to wait it out? again, what is pending for me is the blockchain to Circle transfer. the original transfer was from Merge to my blockchain(my withdrawal).

from Circle: Is this a bitcoin transaction

Circle requires four confirmations before clearing a transaction and no longer considering it Pending. The average completion time for these transactions is about 40 minutes. If it's been longer than that, just keep checking back! It will eventually complete .

I'm still waiting on confirmation from Carbon to blockchain (21 hours now). Sure hope it's not that long to get to circle. This grasshopper needs another dose of patience.

Same here, 24h since send, no confirmation. So they charge 5% but wont pay a few send transaction fees on the bitcoin or is there another reason for this timeframe.

no, because carbon is sending their BTC from their wallet to yours, there is no investigation in between. there are no "people" reviewing your transaction unless you're dealing w/ coinbase or some legit exchange

the issue is carbon isn't paying fees correctly, everyone start emailing them and telling them to up their fees, the btc just gets sent back to original sender so i just email them and tell them to pay more than .0001 btc, i paid .00015 and it sent almost instantly

finally got $ from blockchain to circle in regards to the delayed transaction time. it took over three full days (~87 hours)from blockchain to circle transfer, pretty unreal

And it sounds like that is a result of Merge not paying big enough miner fees on the original transfer (my WD, Merge - blockchain)???

Did you do anything yourself to help it get finalized?

Funds now available in circle. Hopefully easier to practice patience on next BTC cash out.

Is bitcoin withdrawal available for everyone? I had it offered ONCE like 6 months or so ago, and it was pending for 2 weeks, and then it was cancelled by Carbon and I had to try again via check.

I just went to withdrawal options and didn't see it offered for me, so what's the deal? And, wth would it take so long to do if it was available? Isn't it like instant if done correctly?

Made a $10 BTC deposit. Option available the next day. No. If not enough in mining fees sent initially. Processing also not instant. But, shaved 2 weeks in check times for me. Also, my 1st BTC cash out. Trial & error with me as I initially had an invalid address. But, I now feel comfortable with the process. And, that's saying something from a partially illiterate computer user.

I have a large amount of money on Merge that I want to withdraw via btc, but I have to unlock it as a withdraw option first. Can anyone inform me as to how much they had to deposit to unlock that withdrawal method? According to Merge, it's not guaranteed, but I saw posts earlier itt saying it only takes a few deposits.... Thanks

Is this correct? I thought for Bitcoin I just withdraw from merge to circle.com and from there to my bank account. I'm reading the previous posts and I see that blockchain comes into play at some point. Am I wrong to think the money goes from carbon to circle, and then to bank account? Idk why it has to get any more complicated than that.

Yes. You are giving Circle the opportunity to look at the papertrail of the BTC addresses and seeing it is from a gambling site... If Circle finds this out, they will cease business with you. Using a Blockchain.info wallet helps prevent this.. but is still not foolproof to being investigated.
