I'm not going through every post so this may be a bit off, but the cashout confirmations are not all of the same time frame. Checks are taking three months. ROW is one month, while WU is 2-3 weeks from skimming the thread.

Is this an accurate assessment? If so, the post you quoted doesn't match the reports in this thread.

I'd take it for sure. Was super smooth for me. A couple people had issues, but I think they resolved it pretty quickly.

For checks, looks like late May/early June have been popping up as processed in the last 1-2 weeks. A few from July somehow. I'm June 9 and for the first time actually expecting to be approved in the near future.

I wouldn't. I remember a few in the past who, when they did, it put them in the back of the line again for P2P. They weren't instantly approved.

Early June seems like the next batch. I'd wait. I'm June 10 and if given the same option, I will pass.

As mentioned by the previous poster this was the exception to the rule and not the norm.. Most people who request the p2p transfer on average get their funds much quicker than those who decline

That's correct jslab.. our only recourse is to continue sending antigua and carbon emails (I've sent 3 to antigua in the last 3 weeks without any acknowledgement). Continue to play Bovy and ACR in the meantime until your roll is under 5 figures imo

Would it be a mistake to deposit 50$ on sportsbook right now? I'm willing to wait up to 3 mths to receive my money, although its far from ideal.

seems dumb if you can just put $50 on another sportsbook that pays out in a matter of days not months

Use Bovada. ACR sportsbook is buggy and it doesn't always open and it lags.

I have not done that yet. What did they say?

I've E-mailed a few times to complain and they mention contacting carbon to inquire about my request. I think carbon may process these requests quicker if AGC starts breathing down their neck. At the very least- It certainly doesn't hurt to contact them.

Just had a not-so-great experience trying to deposit a Merge check, this is at a branch of a major U.S. bank:

First of all I got slightly flustered when I walked in because a bank employee at a desk saw me looking for a deposit slip and he says "you just need your debit card." I thought he was saying I can just do an ATM deposit with my card but of course I needed to see a teller for this particular transaction. He was actually just informing me that they don't use deposit slips anymore, you just walk up to the counter and swipe your card to pull up your account info for the teller. So I'm like ok fine just slightly annoyed cuz I wanted to walk up to the teller with as much info already filled out as possible.

So I walk up to the counter and while I'm taking out my card the teller (young, friendly female) is intently studying the check...

teller: "...a foreign check, a check from Quebec, eh..?"
me: "yeah"
teller: "I see it's advertising (check was from an advertising company), do they have any big clients?"
me: (wtf) "....I'm not sure, they might"
"you don't know?"
"Nah, I'm not really sure"
"I'm kind of interested in advertising stuff myself."
"Oh, yeah?"
"What do you do for them?"
"........uh...........it's business"

*good five second pause in convo*

"do you do work for them?"
"yeah, it's like online stuff, online marketing"
"how long have you worked for them?"
"about four months...it was like a summer thing"
"$1200 for four months of work is pretty decent"
"yeah"
"the reason we ask these questions is a lot of people get scammed by companies, you'd be surprised. that happened to my boyfriend actually"
"oh, gotcha"
"so just so you know because it's a foreign check we have a separate department for processing those, and sometimes there is a fee for the foreign check, but since this is from a Canadian company and it's in US dollars I don't think it would be a big deal, but there may be a fee"
"ok, that's fine, thanks"
"and because it's a foreign check you should know that the funds may be returned at any time, in other words there's no time limit on when those could be returned, and that lasts like forever"
"ok, gotcha"

I'm probably not remembering everything that was said correctly/this is a condensed version, but that was the gist of the convo.

I found the whole thing pretty unprofessional for her to be asking me questions about the company, my relationship to the company, etc., but maybe that's more of the standard/to be expected when you deposit foreign checks (I've never deposited one before)? Also just the whole thing I mean commenting on how much money someone made is just kind of lol etiquette wise but I mean that part is whatever.

What would you say on the phone to a branch manager/foreign checks processing department person if they were to call me on the phone (probably very small chance of this happening I guess)?

Could use some advice here. Sry for long post. Also not sure if it's not really acceptable to be posting this here so I guess mods let me know/do what you do if so?

That sounds like a bank teller ham handing the bank's KYC compliance policies or something

Why don't you just deposit the check in the ATM and let the bank deal with it however they see fit? Last time I did that I just PDF signed some form they emailed me and I've never had an issue since

Merge tells you expressly in their emails about the deposit being processed that you must see a teller and not use an ATM.

I didn't really understand what the difference was either, same department is going to end up reviewing it, but I just took their word for it.

Just seems like a random conversation imo. It sounds more like the teller was naive/being nosy/attempting to make conversation then do the Feds job. I normally circumvent this by talking about the weather, what she's doing this weekend, and as a last resort will start hitting on her. Anything to avoid the conversation you had
