It wasn't just the 150K Gtd game.

A bunch of the games have been having massive overlay the last 1-2 weeks and seems to be just increasing. I've never seen anything like it before. It is indeed scary.

I think I saw at least 2 other games with overlays in the thousands yesterday and a number of other games with overlay in the high hundreds close to a thousand over the course of the last 1-2 weeks.

On top of that Sharkscope has not been reporting merge for about 7 days now. I don't remember ever seeing that long of a drop before.

Not sure exactly what you're getting at but a company's past behavior and reputation is generally a good indication of how they will behave in the future. It's not a 100% guarantee of how anyone will behave but Carbon has a 10 year plus history of paying its customers so I think most of us DO assume we will get paid until there is a viable, tangible reason to think otherwise and a random delay in payments during a time historically known for delays is not the smoking gun yet.

While we're on the subject of payment. I wish they'd go to Wal-Mart or Kroger or Amazon and buy some gift cards in amounts: $50, $100, $200, and $500 and allow those as a payment option. How hard could that be? I'd take a Walmart $500 giftcard option. It would take care of groceries for a month and there's no reason it couldn't be shipped ASAP. Someone needs to get creative and use an option like that to help alleviate some of these issues.

No, it wouldn't take care of everyone but it would take care of a lot of people and help ease the stress of whatever problems they face.

Anyone really think the perosn winning MTTs with 20K overlay are ever gonna see this money, that just sounds like a boat that is sinking deeper and deeper, where is that extra 20K coming from

and what sucks even worse now, Im thinking merge just spreading the wealth now and that the brief run of final table finishes i had, were just merge spreading the wealth and better players not even playing on the site cause i aint getting anywhere near final tables lately on other sites. This post right here is the most concerning because i understand if USA players are delayed but ROW players should not be in their 3rd week.

overlay = amount of money the site has to cover. Like if its 150k gtd and prize pool only made it to 130k then there would be 20k that the operator would have to put out that is the overlay.

Guys i cashed out $600 via moneygram last week and they processed it/sent me tracking number within 24 hours. So if i wasnt busy i could have had cash in hand within 24 hours from my withdrawal request. Carbon check payouts were taking 8+ weeks around this time of the year in 2013 were they not? Comparing them to lock is ridiculous. Its an illegal poker site, if you cant handle the withdrawal variance find a different hobby imo.
