Yeah but on the flip side, it doesn't really make sense that they would be consistently processing skrill withdrawals in a short amount of time and then out of the blue decide to hit and run with players' money and not process any at all. You would think there would be a decline of some sort first if they were going broke. So this gives me some hope that it is just a short term hold up, but maybe that is too optimistic.

Well the good thing id that tbey have ALWAYS paid out. I doubt they want to stop paying. People have gotten their checks in hand and processed in march. So those are def positive signs. Lets just alll relax and wait til the end of the week. Maybe the costa rican holidays had some influence on row withdrawlas as well. By the end of next week if nothig changes, then start worrying.

I am at 8 weeks today. I have stopped playing on that site for now. Just dont want to put in more hours and possibly win more money and get it stuck on there. I have a good amount on there and it will take years to get it off at this rate. If i had to guess i think something would happen next week.

I find it hard to believe that people are choosing Merge over Pokerstars. Even if they *were*, they won't be anymore.

If a couple more weeks go by with little to no cashouts I will be very concerned especially if Skrills are not processed and still pending.

Right now I am waiting patiently, but if my pending wire hits 8 weeks (requested 2/18) and none of these checks are fired off to players who have been waiting longer than me then it is not a good situation obv and right now it is not exactly an ideal situation although they have had similar delays in the past and caught up.

Aside from the delays for checks which has happened before and does not surprise me , 2 things are out of the norm from what I can see. ROW cashouts are not going thru in a timely manner. I spoke to a reg earlier who is used to getting his SKRILL in 6 days or less and he has been waiting for over 2 weeks.

Also in the past when checks have been backed up to 3-4 weeks or even more than that the wires have been processed in 2 weeks or less most times while the checks were delayed.

The one thing that has held true over the years is Merge has always payed and never stiffed anyone so we have that track record that keeps us hopeful.

I have two BA's and one is in logic and philosophy so I think I have my mind around logical thinking. The idea that not every payout gets reported on 2 + 2 doesn't help your argument. If you are trying to infer more payouts have been paid then just the 2 reported then wow and same thing could be said for others not reporting their long wait times, right?. Premise is wrong. I am calm I have no money on the site and if u read my work on the Lock Poker thread you will see that there are tons of similarities here as well. The main points..

2. Fake Regulation in Curaco
3. George Pragg is in charge
4. All payments have halted not just checks. If it were a payment processor issuer payments would still slowly be turning out from the other processors they use especially skrill.

Also those bashing people for the delay after the super bowl thing I can say for sure that over the years that payouts have been somewhat 'delayed' following the end of NFL season and have typically sped up as September approached.

For a site that's company model goes against grinders, the grand prix coupon thing is very odd. They are giving up to $200 if you play the most raked hands in a given day. Obviously that would require playing multiple tables. I got first and the coupon for playing the most $200 NL hands yesterday, I've won the ticket two other times as well.

As long as I can get my money, I really like this Carbon promotion. I haven't tried to withdrawal yet. But as others have said, Carbon has ALWAYS paid out. Nobody ever has not been paid in the last 5 years. I think it's certainly more plausible there is a reason payments have slowed down rather than them planning to shut down. Just 4 months ago people were reporting getting checks in 2 weeks.

THE MOST LIKELY SCENARIO - payments begin speeding up during the summer (when online poker volume is the lowest) to the 5 weeks on average they always have been.

NEXT LIKELY SCENARIO - everybody continues to get paid, but payments take 7 weeks instead of 5 weeks, and they refund the check fee.

LEASE LIKELY SCENARIO - Carbon goes belly up

Carbon has imposed table limits on winning players as a matter of policy, so it doesn't really make sense that they are encouraging multi-tabling regs with this promotion.
