I am having trouble making a BTC withdrawal. I have had an account for over 5 years and made BTC withdrawals last year and had no problems. Now when I enter my BTC address on the withdrawal page a red message pops up saying "Your BITCOIN Address seems to be invalid. Please ensure you are using a proper BITCOIN address. An invalid address will extend your payout waiting period."

I used the same wallet and method of withdrawal that worked last October (it is my Private Key Wallet). I still tried to request the withdrawal with this message being there and the withdrawal was pending for a few days then it was canceled and the funds are back in my account. I got a message saying "the BTC Wallet ID provided is not valid".

I see there's posts from End the Fed that might resolve this

Make sure to use a never before used, legacy or P2SH bitcoin address. Whoever their payment processor is does not support Bech32 addresses yet. (bc1xxxxxx)

Legacy = 1xxxxxx

True enough. They have always made sure to tax players for withdrawing. When they actually had to print a check, get it through a processor, and all that nonsense, it made some sense.

With bitcoin transactions it costs them so little that it should be a courtesy. Imagine cashing out 30k from a tournament win and they take 1k of bitcoin away from you as a 'withdraw fee' on top of the rake of the tournament.

It is cheaper to cash out by check because of the 2% conversion

Recently had check choice taken away and btc wd cut in half. Anyways bc address showing up as incorrect when trying to wd, anyone get this issue?

I'm having the same problem, getting "Your BTC address seems to be invalid" on Merge's side when trying to wd to Exodus.

Did you or anyone else figure out how to resolve it?

Yea I just had this issue earlier today... it looks like you can't use a "segwit" btc address. In my wallet I'm able to go to "manage my wallet and addresses" and generate a "legacy" address to receive to. Don't know how/if you can do that with Exodus, but seems like you just need to use a legacy address instead of segwit.

Thanks, I suspected that was the problem! This is my first time using Exodus so I will have to investigate how to do that but thanks for the info, I appreciate it!

I haven't withdrawn from Merge in quite a while. If I remember right, I cannot withdraw direct to Coinbase, correct?

I did it one year ago and gave them my coinbase wallet code, so I did it right to coinbase. Back then, when I emailed support they were very helpful in giving instructions in case you want to be sure.

I haven't played online poker in a couple years. A couple weeks ago I deposited a small amount onto Carbon and fired that account back up. I've been attempting to make a small withdrawal for several days now. I have been unsuccessful because I don't know my pin.

1) I click the send email pin button
2) No email is sent
3) I send customer support an email explaining the situation
4) Customer support tells me to click send email pin button
Repeat steps 1-4

I have kind of written this money off, but maybe it will just take awhile to resolve.

In contrast, I also made a small deposit onto BetOnline the same weekend and the withdrawal process was fantastic.

This happened to me a week ago or so, I kept clicking the send email button but never got one until like 12 hours later or so. Must be some sort of glitch, I'd just keep trying the button and hopefully you will eventually get an email lol. Customer support is close to useless and withdrawals are slow, I think your money should be good tho and don't write it off.
