I agree w/ BWillie that Merge and Lock are completely different and I am not worried (anymore than normal) about getting my check requested feb. 9th. What is worrisome to me is that you seem to be excited about Merge "going down" and WPN and BetOnline running with the ball.....if Merge were to go down it would be another huge blow to online poker in general and very bad for the poker ecosystem (at least in the U.S.) as a whole. It would be another blemish that would help keep new players away....I play poker in a live "poker club" w/ 60-100 regulars (fish) that show up for the tourney/cash game every week. Only 2 of them play online and all of them (well most) would but they just don't trust it and don't feel safe. Lock hurt us all, so please stop trying to make everyone believe that Merge is making a money grab. And if it happens you can post all about how you knew it and tell everyone how another site stole money - do your best to keep new players away.....but until that happens can you please stop.

BTW guys, I'm not panicking or anything, but it's also just as foolish to be complacent with the situation. Plenty of other sites have ****ed over players in one way or another besides Lock. When cashouts slow down considerably like what is happening now, I'm definitely going to reduce my playing volume and spread the word to not deposit / or play there if at all possible until cashouts improve.

I have a pending check with all you as well however I found this on their site for FAQ, and I thought it would be interesting to share. Now I do not know why it is different on the withdraw page but for those interested or worried here is what I found.

Skrill: 1-2 weeks
W/U: 3-5 days (with a maximum of 1 payout every 7 days)
Other E-Wallets: 3-5 days

If anyone has any questions regarding withdrawal through cash transfer and why it isn't available. I'm fighting for the cash withdrawal but it looks like I may move to wpn. Fast withdrawals, soft fields , horrible software but I don't for fun and gaming I play to win monies. I have dayz and other games for that. From all of the withdrawal methods we currently have available, the check option is the one that has the biggest capacity. This is why it can be offered to all of our customers.

Indeed we are able to send cash transfers. The thing is that we can only offer it to a smaller portion of our database and only for small withdrawals.

We would love to be able to offer it to all of our customers, but this is one of the disadvantages of having such a huge databse.

We are working to bring more processing partners to be able to offer you and other customers more withdrawal options. As soon as they become available we will make those visible in your Cashier.

WPN is probably the most reg infested site that is offered to US players, but is an excellent choice for US players.

Are all of these new chicken littles even aware that it's illegal for these offshore sites to pay us? If you wanna play on crap software with rakeback grinders at WPN go right ahead.

It basically depends on what carbon rep chimp responds to you. I did the same thing and was told that some players have it but that it's a small number of players(and i didn't qualify)

I tried asking for the p2p transfer option as well and they declined me. But they did say they would 'compensate' me for my long wait time and to contact them once the funds are cleared by my bank for fair compensation. Haha so if I never get my money, they won't compensate me...great solution merge

Merge is not broke, they've done this since Black Friday. they are terrible business managers and terrible at efficiency. I've dealt with the bull**** for 4 years. Before Black Friday when they had a very small player base these things didn't happen (been with Carbon since 2008). Things started going downhill when Sportsbook/Players Only moved over to Merge, then eventually pretty much took over running everything. They aren't Jenn Larson/Lock level broke ass idiots but they are just plain incompetent when it comes to running a business and properly managing their customers.

They get their **** together, players start coming back, guarantees start going up, cash games start getting good and boom they **** it all up. It's their business model, they can't help it if they're all a bunch of moronic idiots.

You'll all get your checks but don't be surprised if it takes 7 or 8 weeks because you're dealing with incompetent idiots but not broke ones.
