Back on Oct. 8th i was in there nightly 11 dollar tournament. I am chip leader for about 3 hours and we get down to 6 people and the winner gets 2000 dollars. I have about 1.5 million in chips and the next closest has about 600,000 thousand. Well the blinds get to 35,000 and 17,500. Well Carbon software messes up and they are only posting 3,500 big blinds but still 17,500 small blinds and if you call the big blind from the small you would get 14,000 back. Well this screwed me cause those big blinds would have forced people to start going all in. well surprise surprise i go out 6th. I contacted live chat and emailed them about this. They admit that there software messed up but dont offer no kind of money back or even tournament tickets. They way i see it there error cost me about 1700 dollars. They said well we fixed the problem but since its over we cant do anything. I contacted live chat when it happened and still nothing. So dont expect them to be at fault for anything when it is abviously there fault.

No it wasnt becuase when im raising they have a chance to fold instead of it forcing them to be all in. I might not have won but ino way i should have got 6th. So when there software messes up its my fault?

When this situation first came up, I made fun of Carbon for screwing it up, and I'm sure you can find a couple of posts in my history basically saying LOL Carbon, way to miss that extra 0, and then it continued for like ~2 days maybe? So I thought that was pretty funny.

You're right, they should have cancelled the tournament and split it according to their rules at that point.

But think about this for a second man. If they had canceled the tournament and split the prizepool 6 ways when you had a dominating chip lead, what kind of email would you have sent to support complaining about how unfair that was?

Realize you only think that would have been a "fair" solution after you got knocked out in 6th.

It definitely sucks, but the best thing for you to do is go over every hand in the hand history to find out why (the plays you made) you went from chip leader 6 handed to out in 6th.

so the 2-a-Days Freeroll today:

just like last month, the starting chip stack/blind structure is the same as the tournaments from the old schedule.

i like the new 3000 chip SS and the new blinds, so if you're playing in it today/want this changed if possible please contact Merge support and request they change the structure.

I wouldn't count on ever getting > 2 tables. Your only option really is to swap player pools and play on C/A or PH if you want more tables.

No Carbon OPS tonight I'm assuming due to the US holiday. They are running eight OPS tourneys on Tuesday instead of the usual four to catch it up. Just noticed it in the client now.

merge kicked me out of the players club.. i have contributed over 90,000 dollars in rake to their site.

anyone else have this problem? i count on my 1200$ redemption every month.. this site is scummy
