I start playing the $5 plo8 rebuy tournament and I discover that the rebuys and addons are $10. That has got to be a mistake, right? Anybody ever play a tournament before where the rebuys cost twice the initial buyin?

I did one rebuy to see if it really was $10, and it was. I won't be playing it again until it gets fixed. I emailed support, but haven't gotten a response yet.

as long as the $10 from the rebuys went into the prizepool i dont think there will be any refunds or anything.

Yeah but they should fix it. It's misleading to advertise a tourney as a $5r and make no mention anywhere that the addon is 10.

OK, i know this is as stupid as it sounds, but i never really noticed the rake. i usually play MTTs so the rake there is just in my mind as part of the buy-in, and when i play cash its usually micro stakes full ring so the pennies of rake seem insignificant.

but WOW. i just played with a fish at .25 .50. he bought in short so there was only $50 on the table total. after 42 hands a total of $8 was raked off the table. that's 16% of the money on the table, so if u look at it like that its comparable to the MTT buy-in fee.

but the guy lost $20 and i got $12 of it. 40% of his stack raked off the table in 42 hands? that seems crazy.

Carbon hand history replayer is not working for me on Mac. I couldn't even see one previous hand and the entire window was whited out. Pretty tilting when I'm deep in stuff and can't see when people muck at showdown.

Rake trap for sure. It's really tough to beat the rake until about .50 1 even for really good players.

sorry if this has been discussed: is there any way to get rid of this ridiculous popup when i move to a new tournament table? also why on earth would carbon design it to leave the table i just left to remain open on my screen? can i fix this?

Merge stopped offering rakeback several months ago. None of the skins are allowed to offer it.

I kind of done with Merge overall. Just not enough to grind on a daily basis outside the nightlies which take too long. The late late reg is just odd can't say it gives anyone an advantage or disadvantage just sits with me the wrong way. Right now merge just doesn't have the player experience I'm looking for.
