Well said. Every single US network has had issue... this one more than most unfortunately. They will pay out, just like they always have, and eventually these trolls mucking up all the threads will have far less to whine about

But, I don't really know one way or the other except that I haven't read about players lately being limited.
On sportsbook, I am limited to 2 tables (including registered tournaments). That is why I now play more on carbon when on merge.

Again everyone it is not a cash flow problem it is a processor problem.

So far everything Carbon has shared with me has been accurate.

My guess is we are stuck with this terrible scenario for another month or so and then they will add giftcards back and then hopefully the processor is fixed and we go back to 3-5 weeks.

Happy for everyone that got theirs today....FWIW I suspect more will get theirs processed on Wednesday adn receive notification on Thursday!
It's definitely a good sign to see cheques being processed.
What could be the reason for the delay for bank wire (ROW)? Could it be processor as well?

Since when is making a seat change to an open seat against the rules or unethical? It might just be "my lucky seat"

Sitting out when the fish sits is scummy but recognizing and trying to gain positional advantage is part of poker IMO

What should we expect for a max check that took just over 3 months?

Carbon live chat told me I would definitely be compensated for my long wait once my check has processed. It was a max check and it was processed just yesterday.

They ditched live chat apparently... and after an email to them regarding the compensation process they simply gave me an $11 tournament coupon. (after asking if I wanted a casino or poker bonus)

Seems a bit low of an offer... so I countered telling them that was a very small compensation and was under the impression that I would be given a dollar amount rather than a tournament ticket.

At the end of the email I basically asked for a $109 ticket just to see if they would give it to me... kinda regret that.

Kahn,

Trolling is usually defined as people making inflammatory remarks on message boards with the intention of insulting or getting a rise out of people.

Why would you reference people who have 100% legitimate concerns on here and who are voicing uncertainty about Merge as trolls?

It's great that a bunch of payments were processed today, but it doesn't mean the concerns were/are any less valid.

I mean, maybe there are one or two trolls on here blasting Merge? I'd say most people engaging in this so called 'sky is falling ' rhetoric were/are genuinely concerned about their money. That's not trolling.

90 percent of the people that were in these topics one month ago are gone and had 0 money on merge. i had and still have a good bit of money on there, i was saying the same stuff too. i can understand, but there was a certain point where people were going a bit overboard aka hipaintcheap

Khan rhetoric:
Feb: "Carbon is always slow this time of year and things will improve" (nobody argued)
Mar: "Carbon has has never missed a payment, things will eventually improve" (some dissenters, most agreed)
Apr: "Carbon has improved payouts" (most argued as there was no evidence to support this)
May: "Carbon continues to improve payouts" (what are you smoking on bud? How do you have a website that supposedly tracks this yet are so clueless)
June: "Now the Trollers will go away, I predicted this" (general public is cautiously optimistic as the first evidence of improvement in 2015 has happened.. still waiting to see if they can do it for 2 weeks in a row)

Anybody else find it annoying that "in progress" has become a status for carbon?... Meaning that it's still not processed and can't request another check... Just another way of misleading people along with their quoted 3-5 week timelines

Getting paid changes nothing for me. Waiting 3 months with no communication is unacceptable. I still question what exactly caused these delays and the super bowl excuse is getting really old.

Actually, the 1st time I saw "in progress" used I was confused. If it was in an email, then cashier stated "processed" or vice versa. So it actually meant the same thing. It was processed.

They gave me $100 in free play for the sportsbook for my wait. 2/27 to 6/9.

Would any1 here play a $100+ horse or OH/L if it was offered nightly or once a week?

be careful with this. it may be actual free money b/ of the circumstances, but their normal "free play/bets" have restrictions (void if you request a withdrawal) and rollover (something like bet $100+ to unlock $10).

read the fine print, ask them for clarification and save whatever they tell you in case they try to screw you down the road.

They used to have a weekly 109 plo8 but got rid of it, presumably due to lack of entrants. If o8 can't get decent field sizes, no way in hell horse can.
