WPN has had just as many, if not more, disconnection problems as Merge. Bovada had to cancel all their tournaments last Tuesday, as well. The WPN thread is identical to this one. WPN players are "cashing out to go to Merge" and Merge players are "cashing out to go to WPN" because of all the problems.
That DDOS attacker is an employee who is being paid to do this. He isn't just some random guy. I suspect this guy is working for the Department of Justice, or land based casinos who are attempting to keep online poker from coming back. He's merely posing as a hero who is pretending to be "protecting players" to hide is motives. This is about $$$$$$$$. PERIOD.
The DOJ tried to shut down Bodog/Bovada and failed. Now, they're relying on the only tactic they have left to use, DDOS attacks that discourage players from playing and destroy the site in the process.
