Curious if they are still restricting people to a certain # of tables? I have thought about coming back to Merge but no point if they are going to restrict my number of cash tables to less than 8

I see the coupon sattys auto register for next open registration if you win a ticket. Does this mean we can then unregister and save the coupon for the tournament of our choice?

I just go directly to tournament of my choice and register. Saves a step.

I imagine they are missing on purpose today, as it is typically a very slow traffic day for online poker.

There is this thread that you can read through: http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/28...hread-1264953/

Or you can search Google for one of the "US Poker Site Payout Guides"

my re-raise button is not showing up?

Please help.

i min raised AA, short stack shoved over it, some other guy called short stack, when it came back around to me it did not let me re-raise , my only choices were to flat call or fold

never seen the button missing. freaked me out.

happened 2-3 times over the course of the last hour,

im positive its "no limit"

Shorty's shove most likely wasn't large enough to reopen the betting.

oh that makes sense thanks

it has to be at least 1 big blind more or at least double my raise?

If your posting negative things about Merge, please make sure you have all of the info first. I happen to enjoy playing on Merge, I feel as though without them most of us would have nothing. Yes, there are a few competing sites, but more the merrier. Just get off their back all the time. We are lucky enough to have a few competing sites left. On the other hand, they should handle somethings a little differently. But the biggest issue with a Poker Client would be trust, and I've never heard of Merge not paying. Come on over to Merge kiddos .

No...the first raise must be at least the double the big blind. After that 3bets, 4bets, etc, must be at least the size of the previous raise.

So for example. Blinds are 50/100. UTG raises to 300. The minimum someone could now raise would be to 500. The next person theoretically could raise to 700.

Lets instead though say this next person raised it to 1450 (meaning the raise size was 950). The minimum raise would now be to 2400.

Hope that helped, it's an often misunderstood rule especially for internet players since we just have to click buttons.

As a strategic thing the "min click back" is often a tell. In "real life" almost no one would ever raise the absolute minimum in no limit. So when you see it happen online, it usually means a big hand because it means the "raise any" button was clicked before the player even saw what actions the previous players were taking...ie, they have a big hand and don't care what the other players have.

this is all true except if an individual re-raises all in. then the action is reopened if the all-in is atleast half the size of the initial raiser

i.e. big blind is 100, utg makes it 300, two callers, then button goes all in for 401 total. now the utg can raise again.

Oops good catch of the exception, which actually goes back to the OP's question. Thanks.
