Nah it was 10c turbo that ran at midnight PST. Did they take anyone of your feedback besides structures? So stupid that the overall schedule blows, the Saturday schedule just weakens Sunday's guarantees and there are no good side games. I was very disciplined with re-entering but now find myself rebuying for 6-15 BB and **** because I literally cannot load anything that's not some POS $11 or $33 750 with 15 min blinds and 3+ hours late reg.

You are right. Funny, I never realize how good I have it until they change the schedule and replace a perfectly good tournament with 13 $25 and $50 gtds...

Try to play the coupons into the $60,$100,$200 highrollers everyday. That will increase your games and also give you a real good shot at hitting something massive. At least that's what i do, and I'm really starting to like it.

I dont think the late reg hurts the tournaments with huge fields that much. But anything smaller is affected a lot and its a huge bankroll killer. It does extend the game a lot gruevlock24. Some tournaments are getting to final tables then ends up getting up to 3 tables after like 3 hrs. I'm sure Carbon won't want to change quickly...

Also, which tournaments get the biggest overlay?

theres was some very nice overlay last sunday, but i dont think it will be as good this week. i may be playing them this week so im not blurting out exactly which ones but i think that should be enough info to get you there.

Logged on for the first time in a few days and it's completely dead. Has it been like this all month?

I get that error when I run Carbon's Omaha HUD/stat stracker/odds calculator. It happens sometimes with the Hold 'em HUD usually only when I have more than 2 tables going.

this week the 100k at sportsbook will probably still get significant overlay for anyone interested (plus the free $20 sportsbet when you play the 100k lol). last week it was a whopping $50k overlay on a $100k tourney. this week may be more like $30k (maybe 40..) but that means you get to play a sunday major nlhe tournament with only 300-350 players. much better chance to tid than the old sunday majors that may have payed better but had a few thousand runners. understatement obv, but still better to take this one down than take 20th or so in the old sunday majors.

Why even have the $2.20 HU turbo $25 on the schedule. There were 14 players registered ($28 prize pool) for it and it got cancelled? Either up the guarantee so it makes sense when cancelled or take it off the schedule. Tournament 73154389

I went off the old schedule and just tried to improve it as I would want it, obv just one person's view. I really think the structures are what attracted a lot of players to the network so maintaining that should be a priority. The new added levels in the nightly structures are nice but you could still do some 20 min. structures I really think now that you have nightly tourneys you should have smaller versions of them in the day. You have a lot of regs that like to grind all day and if you give us the deepstacks back plus some sexy daily gtds I can bet that most players would love Merge and talk the site up.

Right now everything is too scattered so the best solution is to combine most of the smaller stuff and slap some sort of gtd on it just to attract attention. I would like to think that most novice players would rather play a tourney with just a random gtd on it than not. So why not slap gtd's that you know will either barely overlay or not at all just to attract some attention?

Obv everyone hates FTP for what they did to their players but I feel like they had the MTT grinder figured out. They ran two essential schedule, day/night but kept enough in the middle to make player want to grind through. Then late night they had small bank roll building tourneys and a lot of recreational players seemed to really enjoy.

In the end I hope Merge really decides to fix what is appearing to be a major issues for most player.

can anyone help me with bonus clearing info?

I see they have a 200% deposit bonus up to $5k running. How long will it take for someone 8-10 tabling 100nl 6 max to clear that?

I don't remember how long it takes to clear it, but when I did some calculations about how much the bonus was worth in terms of hourly it came out to around $5/hour if you're grinding pretty hard (e.g. 10 tables of 100 NL, like you suggested).

Can someone clear up the idea of carbon status for me?

1. What difference in % rakeback does it give? Prior to the change I thought 3k vip pts @ water = $57. Now it seems like 10k vip pts @ carbon = $150.. which is less, no?

2. How does the invite - only method work? What's the selection criteria?

3. Why would they invite someone that grinds 10nl and would only be able to cash out 10k vip pts like once a year - wouldn't that effectively lock up the micro stake grinders' rakeback promo away from access?

It clears at 6.7%. Very few people have the ability to clear the full 5k bonus in the allotted 120 days given current traffic levels. Think of it as a 4 month 6.7% boost to your rewards.

Anyone else have issues cashing a Carbon check lately? I have had a lot of checks and they always said payable through a US branch but the last one I got did not say that and I am being charged over $100 by my bank to collect on it.

As Kahn implied, you will not be able to clear the whole thing because there are never that many 100nl tables running. You'll have to spread out over various stakes or mix 6 max and FR to get that many going at once. Also, with the rake increase a few months back and VIP program changes from the beginning of this month, the ring game volume has been trending down and it's hard to see any reason why that would reverse.

Is the Aced bonus program different than Carbon? Aced is now released $10 at a time for every 1500 points. Same thing obviously, just takes twice as long to get the cash. This was on a reload bonus, but I'd assume the first deposit would be the same? My reload bonuses before were always released $5 at a time.

Cashout received in Sept. was a Canadian money order, though teller of multi national bank it was drawn on called it a bank draft. Therefore, unable to cash through their branch. Necessary to deposit through my national bank. Half of funds available next day. Remainder the following day. Just sayin...
