Okay all I know is there have been delays with the new MTT schedule. I asked Ryan about it on Skype the other day and he said he didn't really know what was going on. I didn't think that sounded to good but that was all he could really say. As for the reasons for the delays all I know is there were some issues that needed working out before the new schedule could be released.
Something is obviously going on, I doubt seriously Carbon is moving to WPN.
For anyone who doesn't know what all's gone on: I don't know the actual timeline but sometime last fall is when the Merge CEO left and shortly after that P2P was removed and several skins got squeezed out. At some point before all this Sportsbook, or the company that owns Sportsbook and Players Only, took over Merge. Carbon was of course the flagship skin at that time and still is but I think, I've never been able to totally figure this out, that Carbon isn't owned by Sportsbook's parent company. I think they are independent but I'm not 100% sure.
For those who don't remember, Sportsbook and Players Only used to be on Cake and they moved to Merge sometime in 2010. When they were on Cake they never allowed P2P even though the rest of the Cake skins did. They also had crappy customer service in my opinion. So when I heard Sportsbook's parent company took over Merge I wasn't surprised when P2P was stopped.
It's been pretty evident that the current people running Merge are a bunch of idiotic droolers who have about as much business sense as 2 five year olds playing office. This pulling of the 2p2 support forum is just further proof of what we already know.
I think Carbon and Intertops should partner up. Intertops has the cashier already and it functions beatifully. All they need is some good software so they should partner up and buy the UB/AP software and they'd have the best US site hands down! We can only dream
but I can't imagine Carbon is going anywhere. I think this is just another BS bad decision made by the top droolers.
FWIW, I too don't think this has anything to do with the companies stability, I just think it's another dumb decision.
@JimAfternoon, nah I doubt that anything to do with any of this.
