we can never be sure with them so its not out of the question. they havent offered enough satellites for it this week so they cant be suprised when the gtd is not met.

You never ever trust a business. These days it's only about the money and you'd be a fool to assume they aren't capable of cheating you.

This + 1 Million. I think the only terms that players should be thinking in are profitability alone.

The new changes at Merge are inexcusable in the following ways:

1. VIP system changes literally rob the players of money right now as well as future income. While future income is not necessarily Merge's problem and they have the right to make the VIP system however they want, the fact that they changed it over night and devalued any saved points accumulated by loyal customers is stealing. Literally stealing from its customers.

2. MTT Schedule took 1 step forward and 2 steps back. While the daily/nightly tournaments would have been a good addition to the previous schedule, Merge decided to make almost every tournament with a decent guarantee 4 hrs late reg which IMO is making the fish go broke faster and making recreational players less likely to play. It goes from fun to a ****ing grind when 11 dollar tournaments paying $900 to first takes 9hrs to complete. I also don't really feel like playing the nightly 11 until 5:30am either...Also, all of the rebuys and cubed tournaments have been cut off the schedule or guarantees slashed so much that no one plays anymore. They also took fun tournaments like the dollar frenzy and the nightly $11 6max turbo and made them ****. They were fun tournaments that gave the site a bit of character. Honestly I think scrapping the new schedule and bringing back the old would be a HUGE improvement for the site as a whole.

3. Rake Increase in cash games.

4. Site segregation: The only site we can play full mtt schedule on is Carbon. Cash games are segregated and if you win too much you will be banned from Sportsbook.

5. Pushing Sports down our throats. Constantly getting spammed by this **** ass site for their ****ty ass lines. Are you people serious with these lines?? Anyone betting on Merge is beyond stupid.

6. Trust. I no longer trust this network. They directly and indirectly stole from their most loyal customers. They not only knew what they were doing but had the foresight to completely take down their customer support forum here on 2+2 which deals with a lot of these loyal customers. They know there is no justification for their actions and to me it looks like a desperate cash grab. This site cannot be trusted. They are making terrible decisions across the board but stealing from customers is beyond unethical and beyond forgivable.

After the first hour on Carbon POker there are 270 players in the $215/100k weird so sportsbook and Carbon each have different 100k sunday tournaments?

Didn't you get the memo? Every negative sentiment, account, and event brought up in this thread is supposed to be magnified 10x in order to foster maximum hysteria.

Is this true? Do they at least let you withdraw your balance?

Sigh. They changed the Sunday $5 $2k gtd that had 10k starting stack to $3k gtd with 5k starting stack. Also no more 2pm $5r PLO8 or any $100 plo8 mtts. That really sucks.

I've all but lost all motivation to grind. The mtt leaderboard used to motivate me, but thats been long gone. Now they destroy the vip system. The points I saved up are worth half what they were when I earned them. And I dont see myself making 5k points a month even with more tournaments to choose from.

DAY 11 since a withdrawal has been processed. How about you find out why instead and offer some real information for once instead of trolling this thread all day trying to salvage Merge's reputation.

$84,600 pool as of 6:45pm EST. Your prediction seems to be just a hair off.

They lowered this from a $150k GTD per the new schedule. Even with a $10k overlay, Merge tends to turn a profit overall on their Sunday schedule. Overlays are promotional tools as much as anything, and if anything, shows a strength to be able to make money while overlays are occuring. WPN has struggled recently with this but they still have the ability to overlay and at least break even. See Revolution rooms for how badly their overlays affect their MTT "bottom line", as it were.

1 - Since Carbon left 2+2, there hasn't been anywhere near the amount of people posting regarding payouts.

2 - Here's your tinfoil hat.

3 - Kahn's "trolling" as you stated does more for the community in one day than you will do in a lifetime.

4 - Once again, the term "processing" means nothing in terms of cashouts. The only things that matter at the end of the day are date of request and date of reception. No one tracks the amount of time it takes to receive a payout from the date of processing to date of pay - and the reason for this is because many networks/rooms use similar terminology with different meanings. If it was the same everywhere, then the term would mean nothing in terms of rooms like Lock, Juicy Stakes, or Wincake (or whatever their name is this week).

Raise your hand thread if you buy this bs lmao.

Raise your hand if you think cash outs have been processed since the 26th and we haven't seen any posted in the withdrawal thread because Carbon closed their forum lol.

See the flaw in your strategy is people aren't that ******* stupid. We all know the majority of people who withdraw use 2+2. We all know processed cash outs were being reported regularly before the 26th. We also know the people from the 26th are still pending. You know I'm from the 28th and I'm still pending.

Yes on the SB/PO side it is true. And of course they let you withdraw your full balance.

The trolls here would have you believe that Merge doesn't pay and is about to go belly up. They conveniently forget to mention that the avg check time last month was 7.4 days and that Merge has paid out every single player's balance (excluding proven cheats) since 2005.

He's not talking about the $215 on Carbon. He specifically said sportsbook which has their own 100k gtd "Sunday Main Event"

It currently has a $60k overlay with ~50 minutes of late reg left.

I wish this was the case, as it would help reflect better accuracy towards the issues with Lock reported in my cashout report.

I'm not defending or trying to prop up Merge - I'm looking at 5 months worth of data I've cataloged here on 2+2 and elsewhere, and 11 days of non-reports from players is not solely indicative of a problem with cashouts.

You give me far too much credit sir, or ma'am. I wield no power and I don't play on Merge (matter of fact I'm not much of a player at all - I'm playing a few sporadic MTT's on WPN now, for the record). I'm not a shill, and I've been quite outspoken when places deserve it. But I'm coming from a wealth of hard work and dedication, while you're just creating a storm to see the wind blow.

Ahhh - I stand corrected then (on this particular point - misread the sportsbook/Merge distinction) -- edited

I have Carbon up and it keeps alerting me to potential overlays...lol. So it seems to be working for me at the moment (though not playing).

LOL. Call him a liar with no proof, and then when I give you an infraction, you accuse him of reporting his posts and call him more names. What are you, 12 years old? He reported nothing (not that it matters) - I saw your post and infracted you.

After a lovely PM exchange where I was nothing but polite and ML nothing but insulting, I finally decided enough was enough after this PM:
